For a good laugh during pride month I absolutely need to share this anecdote from 2019 :

far-right Italian senator Pillon posted some pride pictures on his Facebook to whine about it, and amongst them there was a Golden Wind poster featuring Giorno and the gang with the phrase "Sono più gay del figlio di DIO" (I'm gayer than Dio's son -making a pun as Dio means God in Italian) written on it.

It made national news, with boomers and right wing politicians insulting "the leftist author" for naming a queer character after God, some believing Dio as a character was supposed to represent God in the narrative, and Giorno Jesus, saying things like "he wouldn't dare mock Allah by making him gay !!"

These three are characters for a project I've had for a really-really-really-really-really long time.

I call it "Feverchain", a project which combines metal music with the muppets, with a dash of not so subtle "get rich quick" schemes. They have no idea what they're doing but they're trying to dang it!

That aside, allow me to describe them briefly

Slide one is Dosh, a wild personality known for his signature talent of making withering clothing look stylish. He's always at the thrift trying to put together his best rendition of what would make 80s glam rock musicians proud. Coupled with his loud voice, and tendency to not think before he speaks, he's a wonder to have.

Slide two is San, a gentle personality with an equally melodic and gentle voice, always with a notepad in hand whenever she gets an idea, although it always takes a push to get her to share it. She's shy, but she's working on it! Other traits to be noted are the puffballs on her head which are a part of her head, and an extension of her touch sense, and her jingling jewelry which she always wears and handmakes. 

Slide three is Prima, the group's quintessential cool-kid/leader/lead vocalist/writer. But beware, talk to her long enough and he'll find any excuse to talk about anything morbid, like dead people and skeletons and their taxidermy rat collection. Don't say she's goth, she's strictly not (apparently?). Also, they're genderfluid-as in-they don't care whether or not you think they're male or female or in-between, she's whatever he felt like that day.

That's all for now though, but I will be sharing them more in the future!

wow! as a broke college kid, i wish there was a way to access books and movies as well as scientific articles that the new administration isn't necessarily a fan of. man. If only there was a free and trusted vpn ( up to 10 gigs of downloadable data) to use in conjunction with an anonymizing router (also free up to 10 gigs) to safely, er, permanently borrow media in an untraceable way as well as share files. Man, what's that browser that keeps your online activity anonymous? I'm awfully attached to firefox, personally. If only i had a browser extension that would throw a smoke screen over my browsing data while blocking ads at the same time.

Dear Americans, get a VPN right now. I promise you, the orange man is going to mess with online privacy. Censorship and surveillance are going to be insane. Protect your privacy. This post explains the importance of a VPN quite well (it's from 2017, but it still holds up). Do some research on which VPN you should get. Do not get one from any of the countries in the 14 eyes alliance or those that cooperate with them (read the post linked above for more information). I'm not American, but I use Proton VPN, which is located in Switzerland (I use it mostly for torrenting). Protect yourselves. Times are going to be tough.
