I'm 18 and I want to be a lawyer.I'm from Montreal and the university will cost me a total of 120000$ (its in Toronto). Hey! I apologize if it has taken me awhile to respond to you, I’m not very active on here as of late. I want to first of all congratulate you on your plans to be a lawyer and go to school! That’s so awesome! I also want to say that I understand (from another ask of yours) that it’s tough coming from a problematic or abusive home and wanting to separate yourself from that and expand your future. That being said, I need you to understand that what you read/see on here is not enough for you to base/make your decision on. If you really feel that sex work (whether stripping or being a Sugar Baby) is for you that’s also great and I’m never going to tell you that it’s a bad idea because plenty of people do it and have great success with it and love it but I reallly want you to be sure. It’s also not a surefire way of life and it can be unstable so at first you need to have other forms of income.

If you’re going to school, apply for student loans. Yes, they’re kind of a bitch but if you’re on your own they also provide you with living expenses which are going to help you out tremendously if you don’t have support from home/your parents or caregivers. You also apply for them every year (or it might be semester, it’s been awhile since I was in university) so if, let’s say you find financial help from a Sugar Daddy or you are able to find a lucrative job as a stripper/escort, you will only have to pay back the loans you’ve applied for/used so far so it won’t be like you have to pay back the lump sum of how much your education cost.

Also look for part time work in industries like retail, restaurants/bars, or even beauty. They provide flexibility for you as a student (as most of them are weekend/evening work) and they can also open other doors to you if you’re interested in being a Sugar Baby. I worked in/still work in bottle service and that’s how I’ve met some fairly influential and rich men. It’s also pretty bomb money. I cannot stress enough that you need to be somewhat financially independent before and during your Sugar Baby career. You may find a SD or loyal client who you make a lot of money from but that can disappear and it can go away at the drop of a hat. Look after yourself first and foremost and always make sure your essentials are taken care of.

Don’t let a feeling of desperation push you into this either. That’s initially how I felt. I was in a pretty desperate situation. I had lost my job, was living on my own, and going home wasn’t an option. Then I got sick. So sick that returning to work wasn’t an option for me and when I did get better I had trouble finding work in a tough economy. I was unemployed for almost exactly a year. Sugaring, just to pay my bills and get what I needed to survive seemed like an easy option. That feeling of desperation put me in horrible and, looking back, incredibly dangerous situations. I’m in a fantastic place now, I have a job I love doing and I’m making really good money so sugaring for me at this point is like an added bonus. It allows me to make much safer decisions and do things by my book and on my agenda so it works out usually in my favour. I call the shots and that’s what I want Sugaring to be for you as well.

Even if your family is not a source of support you need to find a network of people you can surround yourself with. Sugaring and sex work can be isolating at times and even if you find a group of people who aren’t involved in it or isn’t a group that you share your sugaring life with, support in any form is going to make sure that your mental health is in check and taken care of on this journey.
