Taurito has been home since 1998 and we dive this reef pretty much every day and we still have great experiences on it. The reef itself has an abundance of life, which is surprising considering the proximity to the beach. We get kitted up at the equipment room and head down to the beach to enter the water, it is a short swim to the ‘Baby Reef’ where we do most of our Discover Scuba Diving program and the in-water training for our PADI courses. Snorkelers love this reef for its shallow depth and closeness to shore allowing hours of lazy floating around. The reef is about 5m at this point, with the natural reef formation lying right next to the artificial reef, which was laid some years ago and has become home to much marine life, which increases year by year.
