Same concept but different themes. The hippie girl was my brainstorm page and my finished product ended up being the Insta girl.

Here is the thing. I got an iPad Pro for Christmas. So I drew this on the digital drawing app. You’re welcome.
For my collection, my overall theme was 'Hippie'. I chose to have a women's, spring/summer collection. For my inspiration throughout, as well as my mood board, I used pictures from Woodstock 1969. All of my colors are rather neutral, and most of my fabrics are light, considering my collection is for spring/summer. My fabric story consists of denim, 100% cotton, 100% polyester, satin, and lace. I had 5 main colors: black, white, grey/off-white, grey/purple, blue, and my accent color was brown. This is my first collection that I have ever developed and illustrated. What I like about the collection is the lightness and raw feeling it has. I would honestly wear any of these outfits, of course because I designed them. One thing I wish I did better was the illustration part. I should've used art markers instead of colored pencil. I feel the markers would have looked much more clean. As you can see the faces of my croquis/ figures look quite dirty, but that is ok. What truly sums up the collection is the quote I put on my mood board.
“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair” -Kahlil Gibran

Thought I’d share some of my Mood/Attitude pages that I’ve created for my Fashion Design classes. The theme I chose was ‘Hippie’. The inspiration sets the theme or tells the story of the fashion collection, and the mood translates the visual elements into emotion. These are all pictures I found on the internet. Some pictures are original picture from Woodstock 1969 which I thought was a perfect way to give off the mood of my collection.
