I must tell you all what I have discovered while I've been gone! I've been gone for too long, and I must tell you all!
Okay, let me break it down for you. My previous adventure that I have not documented to you guys is a website I found that people can make comics for free with presets users give you. One of them, in fact, was Coraline-related, so of course I had to check it out!
I have seen most of the images they gifted me of the other characters, especially with The Other Mother. Now, you know I'm a big fan of The Other Mother (I would say I'm the #1 fan, but I know someone who is a bigger fan than I. *wink* *wink* *blink* *blink*)
They give you many images to choose from, and I knew the sources to all of them!
From official media,
to auction images,
to pinterest among other sites,
I knew where everything was!
...
Well.. Except for one...
And the search for this image would take me to an adventure I never thought I'd come back to...
The Search of The Pleasant Seamstress from Art
Now, this is not my first rodeo when it comes to finding media relating to Coraline. In fact, one of my first adventure was to find the official interactive coraline website (spoiler: the website is gone gone, but I did find another interactive website).
For this, I used all of my knowledge I used to find this image and the source. I used Google Lens to find familiar images to this, but I was not successful. If anything, I kept finding the same images I've seen many times before, heck---Even my own content was there!
Yet, I continuously tried, adding in more keywords to find it, until I discovered a website that would treat me with many images I did not know I needed...

This made me find so many other media I never thought I needed. Some of them include: More images of Coraline keys scattered around city streets, interactive storefronts, the Coraline after-party, among others.
However, this didn't help with my main goal, but this opened another can of worms I can delve into later. On my way, though, I have found many other keywords I can use to help find many other findings in the future.
As the weeks went on, I slowly stopped trying to find the image, and slowly forgot what I was after. That is until I tried it once more, with specific keywords I have learned along the way, I finally found the image source...
This image came from a website that talks about another Art Museum the Laika team hosted, talking about behind-the-scenes (that we do not see but is mentioned) behind all their Oscar-nominated movies.
Sure, many---if not, all---of these findings I discover are anti-climatic, but they are all interesting nonetheless. Hey, somebody's gotta archive the history of Coraline's production and whatnot.
Regardless, I have learned a few tricks and found more fan-content and official content along the way, and I hope to find more along the way!

Somehow finding stuff like this is actually the only reason and motive as to why I still love Coraline.
