the thing is there are real issues with literacy levels and reading comprehension but that's usually not what's happening on tumblr. what's usually happening on tumblr is that a lot of people are annoying, impatient, distracted, self-righteous, insecure, not paying attention etc

and actually one thing that is particularly annoying and self-righteous is how any time you point out these things, everybody piles into the replies to tell you that the average american has a below high school reading level. first of all this means nothing to me because i have no idea what an expected high school reading level is, i'm not american. but secondly I'm pretty sure youse read shakespeare in school so i think you can manage a post. and thirdly nobody is making the average american read and respond to every single post. you can just ignore the ones that are too hard for you

A days-long electronic warfare drill was one of the causes behind the loss of a four-passenger medevac flight.

New bombshell reporting by Wired reveals an incident in which the testing of an experimental GPS jammer resulted in a medical plane crashing into the side of a mountain. The horrifying incident happened in May, the publication reports, when a small twin-engine medevac aircraft carrying two pilots and two medical workers departed from Roswell, New Mexico. Heading West for the small mountain village of Ruidoso, the crew became the victim of an electronic warfare exercise being conducted at the nearby White Sands Missile Range, a test which rendered their navigational system inoperable. in my farming sim game, getting married to one of the townspeople will have a significant impact on your gameplay. if you marry the rival farmer, their smaller farm will be merged with yours. if you marry the town alchemist/doctor you get a buff to all your alchemy and you wake up from getting knocked out in your own home instead of their clinic. if you marry the priestess she uh, idk she does weather related divine magic for you so you can choose the weather, idk i haven't thought too hard about that one yet
