He frowns, before starting to pack the snow like bricks as best he could, scooping out the snow from his teapot for more bricks to make. His frog was sitting on his head, watching.

Seeing that the other boy was upset, Dmitri patted his head. “It’s okay…” he babbled.
He formed a few more blocks and stacked them at the top of the wall, then began forming cubes to form the doorway, facing away from where Ekaterina was putting the finishing touches on her own fort.
@candytrails
Greg continued to smear snow on the wall, before a croak from his frog distracted him and he eventually ended up burying his frog in snow before taking him back out.
Remembering what he was supposed to be doing, Greg snapped up with a apology.
Greg just to let you know I opened up my ask box so feel free to ask me questions any time you want 😊.
He gives a thumbs up.
send me ‘ hc ‘ + a word and i’ll write a headcanon about it regarding my character.
A pair of rough around him from behind and lift him off his feet. "You're /mine/ now," A man sneers, his lips just inches from Greg's little ear
Greg makes a noise, cut off by the man talking. He attempts to break out, trying to figure out where Wirt had gone. He was just here with Sara, wasn't he?
He must have run off again. And all running off did was get him in trouble.
With one ask, try to elicit a strong emotional response from my muse
Make them angry, scare them, or make them sad. Give them a shock or brighten their day. Fluster or frustrate or infuriate, it’s your call.
Bonus points if you know my character well enough to know how to get a strong reaction with as few words as possible.
☄️ @la--sirenita, Mermaid verse 🧜🏻♀️ Maybe he falls into the ocean and she saves him.
Greg had been playing around, having wandered away from Wirt and Sara. Not ever paying attention to anything around him, he fails to notice the rock in the path, tripping him and sending him into the ocean.
@la--sirenita
“You almost died.” Maria began, "If it hadn't been for Oliver you would have died. What the hell happened to you?" (@maria-suzanne 🧚♀️)
Greg was sitting on his bed, still in the hospital. Wirt’s friends had left for the night, and Wirt himself was asleep in the bed nearby.
Greg was still gently shaking his frog around as the person unknown to him made their way over to him, demanding information from him.
Putting his frog aside, Greg looked up at them, tilting his head in confusion. “Who are you?” He questioned.
@maria-suzanne
How was this kid so upbeat after nearly flippin’ drowning?
“I’m Maria.” She responded. She switched her phone on and shot a text to Rose. The kid’s up. The bro’s 💤💤.
Oliver was still in the operating room, and she knew better than to distract him while he was on his shift.
How to talk to kids? Maria thought for a moment, sifting through her blurry memories from when she was the kid’s age. Little kids like talking about their toys, right? “What’s that frog’s name?”
@candytrails
“Hi, Maria!” Greg waved at her, putting his frog friend down on his bed. “I’m Greg, and that’s my brother Wirt over there.” He points to the sleeping teenager.
He resumed playing with his frog again until Maria had asked a question.
“Oh, this is Jason Funderburker! Wirt helped me find and name him.” He responded.
“That’s a weird name.” she mused. ““Did you find it in a book?”
Her phone pinged. She checked. It was Rose, first sending a 👍 and then I’m on my way and then ask him what happened.
She responded to the text, trying her best to look like she was paying sole attention to the kid. 👌👌
“What happened?” She asked, leaning forward. “How’d you fall into the water?”
@candytrails
Greg shakes his head. “No, he suggested the name after his rival.”
Anytime Maria would look at her phone, Greg’s attention would quickly fall back to Jason.
Greg held his frog close to him. “I was following Wirt, then we tripped and fell into a lake.” He responded after a moment of trying to remember exactly. “I think we were avoiding danger.”
“I think we were avoiding danger.”
That piqued her interest. Rose surely would want to know that. If it was something serious, the police would need to know.
“What danger?” She asked. Her wings twitched eagerly, and she folded them as close as she could to her body. “Was it a person? Was a car coming?”
@candytrails
Now Greg had to think. It’s not like he was paying too much attention, and had simply been running since his brother and friends had yelled to. The police officer’s sudden appearance, joke about arresting them, and chasing them in his car did cause Greg to be more worried, and he had made sure he stayed close to Wirt this time.
“Someone in a car chased us. I think it was the police, and one of Wirt’s friends yelled for us to run. So we did.” Greg was now bouncing his frog on his pillow. “Wirt and I climbed up a wall, and then Wirt and I talked. Then there was that train, and we ended up in the water.” Greg finished his recount, and Jason croaked.
A cop? Oh, wow. This was something she had to tell Rose and Oliver about. And a train? She didn’t know any railroads near her neighborhood.
She relayed all the information to Rose, then flipped on her recording app.
“What were Wirt and his friends doing?” She asked, resisting the urge to glance over her shoulder at the suddenly very suspicious older brother on the cot behind her. She couldn’t imagine a cop would chase a bunch of kids around without a good reason.
@candytrails
"Well, his friends were all in the graveyard, and Wirt was following them cause his crush was with them. I put off my frog hunt to help him, but when we got there a police guy followed us through the graveyard."
Greg held Jason in his lap, watching his sleeping brother as he continued.
"I think he said he was joking, but it was hard to hear him when I ran from him in his car cause Wirt was."

Reblog if it's alright for your muse to be given Christmas presents by other people's muses
Send my muse a dream!
"fort" @syn-vetra 🐺 A snow fort nestled in between the ever-watchful conifers of the Drachman forests.
He’s not too sure why he’s in a snow fort, where he is, or who he’s with, but he’s having fun. Currently, his favorite activity is to place his frog outside the door, and hide behind the wall.
@syn-vetra
Dmitri plopped another snow-block onto the half-finished wall and began forming another little piles of snow into a cube.
“We need more bricks!” he chirped at the other boy.
@candytrails
He’s not paying much attention, not hearing if anyone were to talk to him. When his frog hops over to the other, Greg follows, stopping infront of Dmitri.
A green blob sailed by.
Pakhta darted after the blob, yipping loudly. Dmitri squealed and grab it, dropping his snow-brick.
He held it up the the boy, squealing excitedly.
@candytrails
Greg looked up at the sudden yipping, holding his frog close to him as he watched the other two.
When the green blob was held up to him, he reached out to poke it, but a croak from his frog made him pause and lower his hand.
Upon closer inspection, he saw that the blob was a tangle of pine needles. He formed a few snow bricks, stacked them up into a triangle as high as he could reach, and stuck the needles on top.
“Flag!”
@candytrails
Greg watched, pointed at the needle blob atop the bricks, and cheered “Flag” along with the other, holding his frog up as high as he could.
With that, he began piling snow again. He picked up a block and set it on the wall.
“More blocks!” he said.
@candytrails
He sets his frog back down, scooping up snow in his teapot and packing it, flipping it over on the wall and scooping it out, piling it on and hoping he was doing this right.
SICKNESS STARTERS
“You look really pale.” “When’s the last time you slept?” “You really don’t look well. Are you sure you’re alright?” “You look like you need a hospital.” “Can you call me a doctor, please?” “I don’t feel well.” “Don’t go far, I don’t feel well.” “Can you stay a little longer? I feel quite sick.” “Hey, are you sure you’re alright?” “Sickness is spreading around town, I think we should leave.” “I think I caught a cold.” “I’ll cook for you today.” “Do you wish to have some soup? It might make you feel better.” “Have you taken your medication yet?” “You can’t keep going like this, I’m taking you to a doctor!” “You look like you’re about to die, are you alright?” “You’re radiating a fever.” “I feel feverish.” “Here, take the couch and rest up.” “You’re acting strange, are you sure you’re alright?” “Are you feeling any better today?” “How are you feeling today?” “How is the healing going?” “I think I’m about to throw up.” “That doesn’t look good…” “I can’t wait for the day I get to leave the hospital.” “Don’t sneeze in my direction!” “You’ve been coughing all day, are you alright?” “You look like you haven’t slept in days.”
