ash williams is a great character because ultimately he works off of looney tunes rules. so you can say "what would happen if you dropped ash into the alien franchise?" and the answer would be his chainsaw would quickly run out of gas so he tries biting the xenomorph which of course causes the acid to melt all of his teeth but then he replaces them with 28 titanium tipped dental drills and he's immediately back in business.
