Tips for Leaving Furaffinity

A step by step guide for artists looking to migrate away, or expand their reach beyond Furaffinity.

OVERVIEW

Recently Furaffinity became the victim of a severe breach in security, causing content to be deleted, user information to be comprised, and bring the site to a complete halt. As of today, the website is still in read-only mode, removing the ability for users whose passwords were compromised from even logging in to change their passwords.

In light of these developments, many people have voiced their concerns over not only the stability of Furaffinity, but also the safe keeping of their private information. Due to the large user base, many artists rely on FA for commissions and as a result exchange private information through the note system such as paypal accounts and email addresses. As a result, this hack has caused many to doubt if they should continue to utilize the website and what alternatives they can pursue. In the accompanying video, I plan to explain ways artist can expand their reach beyond the scope of Furaffinity and, depending on their goals, move away from the website entirely.

Jurassic World toys at Target have committed the ultimate sin: raptors without raptor claws on their feet! Unforgivable. >:C I am rather disappointed in general with the JP (JW) toys of this generation. Back in my day *waves a cane* the toys were like $30-60 and WORTH IT. Now everything feels and looks cheap; the price tag reflects it too. What happened!?

Hey I LOVE your suits they are sooooooo awesome!!!! i am currently making an angel dragon suit and i have done alot of research and the only BIG problem is feet. i have to have outdoors kind (cuz i love outside) but every tutorial i find kinda just skips over what to use for the bottem of the feet paws. I was wondering i you could tell me some good materials and/or tutorials for this? Please and Thank you (P.S. Thanks for the Sonar pictures they really helped me picture the foam base for my suit

Most people use thick sheets of closed cell polyurethane foam mats, commonly known as EVA foam. It's the stuff children's puzzle playmats are made from and common material for making cosplay armor. I am experimenting with using silicone cast bottoms for Sonar though, looking into urethane rubber options too for future projects. Problem is casted bottoms are heavy. However I've also had the EVA foam rip on me too. Maybe the solution is a combo of both, more experimentation is needed for me to find my favorite method. There's probably tutorials out there somewhere, but none that I personally know of. I don't tend to keep an eye on tutorials anymore like I used to and I tend to just refer people to the Fursuit LiveJournal Community.
