It’s been like -50 with wind chill added the last two days and tomorrow the high is supposed to be around 14 and that is going to be sooo nice. I know my dogs will enjoy getting to go for an actual walk without freezing their toes off
So the nice thing about my tumblr is that no one reads them 😂 so here goes. Been having lots of mental health issues especially the last few months. Been trying to figure out something to help with it and in my infinite wisdom decided that was to go to college. I am old but whatever it’s never too late I guess. Got a scholarship for a pasture to plate butchering class and I will be finishing that certificate over the spring semester. And I will be taking a few additional classes while I try to decide what the fuck I actually want to possibly do with my life. Like I was thinking rad tech but do I like people that much and do I want to leave the house every day?? Idk. Do I want to do data analytics which I feel could be either very interesting or very boring?? I could work from home and possibly travel while working if I wanted to. But as a rad tech you can be a travel tech as well. But you’re working 8-16 hour shifts 3-5 days a week? That’s a long time for my dogs to be alone almost every day. And my boyfriend is great with the dogs but they bully him so he can’t take them places because they walk all over him and hate other dogs so he doesn’t do much with them when I’m not around. Fuck me someone just tell me what to do.
I'm just so tired of it all.
I really hope starting my new job makes me feel better. Or maybe I'll just stress myself to death. Idk either way yay me.

Yesterday I learned my backyard is home to purple ground ivy and its place within herbal witchcraft and herbal medicine was fascinating so I want to continue this journey. Obviously I know a few herbs and plants that are good for certain things but I really want to educate myself deeply!
I was looking into the Green Witch but really all and any suggestions are welcome for a beginner such as myself.

My family went holiday SCUBA diving once, and a couple of Deaf guys were in the group. I was really little and I spent most of the briefing overcome with the realization that while the rest of us were going to have regulators in our mouths and be underwater fairly soon, they were going to be able to do all the same stuff and keep talking.
The only reason some form of sign language is not a standard skill is ableism, as far as I can tell.

Also, a plus; Norse style apron dresses are comfy as all hell and tbh should never have gone out of style, because again comfy as all hell. You can dress them up with beads and shinies! You can dress them down for work! You can use linen for cool breathable comfort in the summer or wool for warmth in winter! It’s truly versatile!

Well I think today is the day I finally admit to myself that I'm never going to compete in mounted archery because I just don't like riding anymore. Went for a short ride yesterday and not only did I not enjoy it at all it fucked up my knees and made my back go out. So I think I'll just stick to ground archery and be happy with that. Plus allergies are getting worse and I don't need to deal with that either. I suppose I could always compete at a walk but not going to lie at the level I can shoot and ride at that's dumb so no. I'm not driving 8+ hours one way to do that. Plus I've never completed so I don't know what I'm missing and I think I'd like to keep it that way.
