The basic story I have for liu so far is after the incident, most image of jeff is gone cause jeff want liu to not rmb his appearance as the current one so he get rid of it as much as possible, it almost felt like jeffrey woods was completely erased from the world.
Jeff never consider that grief and trauma will cause liu to slowly forget his face and memory, plus the last time liu saw jeff was when he was still bandaged. Liu hate that he can’t rmb most details of jeff and decide to begin his search for his brother. Witness testimony was useless to liu, a pale man with a creepy smile that you could almost describe him as a demon? Maybe the pale part is true but the rest was too absurd to him.
While the main reason for the search is to ask jeff some questions, he also wants to preserve the memory of his brother in some way. It didn’t matter if jeff was completely unrecognizable now, liu was desperate.
Trying to balance college work and his daily search was also difficult but he managed somehow.
