the part of adulthood that no one ever warns you about is the amount of surfaces you need to acquire to put your things and trinkets on
eternally envious of artists who can channel an obsession with something into a bajllion drawings and doodles of that one thing
I've got the obsession down, I'm just. so tired and lazy.
This, so much.
But it is also important for you to look at art made by people who don't care for the thing as much as you do. Nothing else in my experience gets you the itch to write or draw like seeing someone do a prime concept horribly.
Your name is KIBBLINGTON KIBIBYTE CAT. Your powers include ELEGANT JUMP, CURIOUS SNIFF, and DELICATE NIBBLE. Your hobbies include jumping into the pantry, scenting dry cat food, and tearing the entire bag apart. You enjoy long walks around the neighborhood, and would enjoy long walks in the middle of the street as well if not for the MYSTERIOUS FORCE that often tethers you in place.
On today's MORNING SNIFFAROUND you discover a STRANGE CONTRAPTION. Perhaps it possesses potent powers? But your WIGGLESNIFFER is distracted by the DELICIOUS GRASS brushing against your whiskers.
What do you do?

Useful Magic Set Editor (MSE) Tips
Hi! I’m DamnYouModoShuffler (DYMS, never came up with a better shortname). I’m a reasonably well-known (not really) custom magic card designer. I wanted to share some tips for those who use MSE, since this reduces the hassle of design, improves the quality of the work, and thus increases the other part of designing - the fun!
FLAVOR TEXT QUOTES
You’ve got some kickass flavor text attributed to some super badass in your story. Make sure you save space and template properly! Otherwise they won’t be so badass. Have the attributed person’s name go on a line directly beneath the quotes. To do this, hit Shift+Enter instead of simply hitting Enter to go to the attribution line. Also be sure to type the dash twice (no spaces!). It converts it from the short dash to the long dash used for quoting and card modes (but we’ll get to that later).
DESIGNER CREDIT
Be sure to put your name/url/username/whatever in the “Copyright” section before you start making cards. It’s in the “Set Info” tab at the top of your screen. Do this every time you make a new file!
This will automatically put your name into every card you make. It’s a lot easier than doing it individually!
You can also edit any individual copyrights at will, but you can’t make batch changes, even if you change the copyright. It only affects new cards made.
Your work is art too! Make sure that people know who made it! This is great for building followers too, since sometimes custom cards go viral and you want to make sure they know who the designer is.
CYCLES
Have a cycle? Rather than make the same cards over and over, make one card and then copy+paste it four/nine times!
To maximize your awesome skills, fill out all the cycle-bits before copying. These are the rarity, card type, subtypes, mana cost (minus color), and abilities. Also, if you leave the name blank, it stays with the editable [CARDNAME] field, which will allow easy cycle-filling once you’ve copied the cards. Don’t give the first card a name before copying!
Also, the [CARDNAME] field is created by typing ~ instead of actually writing the word CARDNAME - don’t do that! That’s silly and nonfunctional.
Now this is a great copy template!
And the fruits of our labor!
MODAL SPELLS
Here’s a bullet point. • I found mine here, at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullet_(typography) If you lose this post, just remember to Google ‘Bullet Point’ and you’ll get the Wikipedia page as your first result.
When making cards with modes, be sure to type the dash twice when saying “Choose X”. Also be sure to hit enter when going from the ‘choose’ line to the modes, and shift+enter when going between modes. Save space, template smart!
NEVER FORGET ARTIST CREDIT
Not sure who the artist for your piece is? Run a Reverse Image Search through TinEye. I also believe that Google has a Reverse Image Search, but I am not knowledgeable with it.
http://www.tineye.com/ - TinEye lets you upload images or enter a URL. Look for DeviantArt pages or anything that has a real person’s name in the search results.
If you’ve lost the image file but still have the image on your card (happens to me plenty, actually) - just do this:
1. Export the card image.
2. Open the card image file you just exported in your photo editor of choice. (I use paint for expediency on this)
3. Crop out only the art, and save that as its own image.
4. Run it through TinEye! Even if the image is stretched or cropped, it should still find what you’re looking for.
Artists put their heart and soul into their work. Be sure to credit it! Don’t have no heart and no soul by refusing this.
DESIGN AWESOME CARDS
Thanks for reading! I hope you learned something from this. To those who already knew all of these, I hope you read it and realized your awesome skills! Now go out there and make cool things!

This is great. Listen to this gentleman.
ive been in the homestuck fandom for over a decade now and i just realized ive never made a trollsona
i decided to rectify that lol
The only thing that would make this worse would be if Glitch Productions somehow got involved and the show stars Gianni Maestro as one of the villains. Or if Neil Newbon is involved.
Imagine if (you were a cat) and you had superpowers (the ability to open doors), but you only used them for evil (to get into toilet paper and destroy it)
The Party gets one big bundle of EXP and the players have to decide for themselves how to split it among themselves.
This is just old school D&D where XP was directly linked to loot value.
I can see some kind of new campaign following these rules; all the dragons, demons, angels, and liches are so deadly because they have boundless riches.
Gonna go ahead and tattle on myself.
I'm too normal for Tumblr Famousness. I can't be one because I have not shown the appropriate amount of freak.
That day will come though. Just not anytime before the next war.
Probably a bad RPG idea; each of the players takes turns being the dungeon master, a Penny Dreadful of sorts. Everyone, at some point, is playing with a character sheet. The DM could change halfway through the session, or it could take multiple sessions.
Everyone has the same character (unless theirs dies, of course) throughout the entire adventure. It just seems that one of the characters will randomly disappear as soon as their respective DM takes control.
I think this would only work if everyone agreed beforehand on a setting and what kind of adventure it would be. And even then, some DMs would prob be better than the others.
"Now behold! Behold as I unmask your...beloved...hero...?" The villain's voice trailed off as he tore open said hero's crippled mech suit on live TV, only to reveal something quite...unexpected.
The silence that followed their statement could have filled a city. Disbelief began to crack the villain's face. I could remember that day like it was yesterday.
Staring right back at us, with eyes devoid of emotion, seemed to be the villain's very own face. His name was Victor, if I remembered correctly, and he has been tormenting the city for the past six years. Every time he would arrive, the superhero Reactor would come to defend against him, using a mech suit that felt like an unstoppable juggernaut. I remember cheering on Reactor as a kid, loving the hero's orange and red mech.
"This... This can't be," Victor said, "I know that face. I see that face every morning. You're not... A clone of me, are you?"
The mechanical voice of the mech suit weakly rang out, "No. I wish it was that simple."
The breathing of Reactor seemed labored, like it was being barely supported. Looking back, I could see the shape more clearly. It wasn't just a mech. It was a coffin. Dressed in the finest liveries that a child could want. A reinforced steel tomb. Kid-me was just upset that Reactor was going to die.
"That power... of yours is... unstable. It evolves... With you." Reactor breathed out. The voice seemed to be a decrepit whisper of Victor's. Victor shook his head.
"But, I can phase through walls, how does..."
"You don't understand. Your power is not limited to three dimensions." Reactor's mech sputtered. Victor's eyes narrowed.
"What does that mean, Reactor?" Victor began shouting, looking at the broken mech. The sound of a beeping life support was the only sound we could hear on TV. Victor's cries turned desperate, even when Reactor's body disappeared. Even when he found out the answer seventeen years later.
I hope everyone who sees my dash and follows me has a nice day and is able to eat a full meal.
Don't forget to take out the trash too.
On the bright side, I'm not...

...in crippling debt.
ok first you do 7+8 which is 15 (nice number) and then you add 2+4 to get 6. I then say 60+15 and then bamf! 142.
Wait no it's 75. Sometimes my brain likes to add random numbers. I get it sometimes
oh god they've gentrified the SWAWS
