More than scraping by

The incredible surf photographer and videographer Mickey Smith says one should lead a life worth scraping. I want to do more than scrape by, and I'm willing to work for it. 2012 brought excruciating, metamorphic, and wondrous change to my life. 2013 is promising to be a year of equal change. I can see a horizon beckoning with bright hope and joy. The valleys and dark days have been stacking up, but I keep treading on with curiosity and a brave heart.
