yeah, but DID/OSDD is so fun, right guys. it’s fun being an alter. it’s fun having alters. it’s cool to have people in your head because it’s better than being alone, right?
oh, buddy, you will never feel more alone in your life.
people won’t know you exist. if they do, they don’t want you, they want the host. you have to jiggle some strings and make the puppet dance.
you can’t make out of body friends, because nobody fucking gets it, and you can’t have anything to yourself anyway. you’re just some extension of someone else; your friend is the friend of 80 other people. the day you wanted to spend doing things can easily be taken by someone else.
hell, sometimes physical objects can’t even be yours. someone else wanted to wear your sweater today. that food you were saving? well, someone else wanted that.
the only true friends you can make are inside your own head, and you don’t even have the luxury of truly getting away or having time alone, unless you want to cease thinking entirely. someone else is sharing your memories and thoughts with you, too. there’s no such thing as silence or privacy.
and it’s all because it was decided that a child be treated as subhuman for their entire fucking life, through adolescence and adulthood.
nobody fucking gets it, and endos like to play it like it’s some game. like it’s a fun thing you can just believe hard enough to achieve. to which i say:
please absolutely go fuck yourself.
go fuck yourself for robbing me of some sort of a chance at being my own person, just because you deign to spread misinformation and falsehoods like it’s your god-given right. nobody will see me as my own human, and you all share some of the blame.
your mockery of my existence disgusts me to my very core. you treat my life like a game. you treat what made me exist as a game. a fun badge you can wear to aid you in the contest for world’s quirkiest blogger. i won’t stand for it.
pee your fucking pants.
