Just An Update

I’ve started writing again. My girlfriend is thrilled, although she seems to think that because I’m sitting down at my desk every night pounding away at my keyboard for 4 hours that I’m writing the next Great American Novel. I’ve assured that is not the case. But, hey, I love her support and enthusiasm. I don’t want to be recognized, I just want to write. 

I’ve discovered this great little website called Scribophile that if you have any inclination towards writing, you should join. It’s a points based system where you critique another writer’s work which in turn gives you points so that you can post your own work. I get to read and critique some great pieces as well as receive feedback on my own. It’s a writer’s dream.

Have a goal. Waking up earlier. Smiling. Starting to run. Making this recipe. Buying this blanket. Traveling. Cuddling a horse. Saying i love you to someone. Laughing. Discovering the universe. Singing. Sewing. Having your own shop. Sleeping well. Going to this specific place. Being in peace with yourself. Taking a picture on the top of the Everest. No matter the kind of goal, have one. And fight for it. Wake up everyday with motivation, and fall asleep with a smile. Live your life to the fullest, every second. Do exactly what you want, and accomplish it. You are the master of your life. You decide. You create. So go. Never doubt of your capacities, and go.
