Chapter 17: Epilogue (Pt. 2)
One year later
Harry and Louis walk along the beach hand in hand, bare feet leaving prints in the sand. It's familiar, but so much has happened since they’d last done this.
It's nearly sunset, the sky turning pink and purple. Louis seems quiet, but Harry doesn't mind the peace. His life is so hectic now, it's nice to feel calm for just this moment.
"Hey, H?" Louis interrupts his thoughts.
"Yeah?"
"You know where we are?" Louis asks.
"Umm, oh! We're by your old apartment," Harry realizes.
"Yeah, now stand here," Louis pushes him gently to a specific spot on the beach, then moves to stand in front of him.
"Okay," Harry chuckles.
"Now where are you?" Louis asks.
"Umm..." Harry is a bit confused. "In front of you?"
"It's the exact place we met" Louis says. "You were standing in that spot and I came up to you and shook your hand. It was the moment that started everything. You know, you once asked me if we were being stupid… and I said that I'd rather live in the moment.”
Harry's heart begins to race… is this?
“I wanna live in the moment with you forever, Harry. I love you so much, and I wanted to tell you this in the place we fell in love because this beach will always be a part of us. My summer love turned into my forever love. So Harry, will you marry me?" he asks, lowering himself onto one knee.
Harry is crying, eyes leaking with tears. "Yes," he says.
"Yes, I'll marry you." He throws himself into Louis' arms, knocking them both over into the sand and kissing him. "I love you, Louis. I love you so much."
"I love you too, Harry. Always will."
"Always."
The. End.

Chapter 16: Epilogue (Pt. 1)
2 years later
"I'd walk through fire for you, Just let me adore you, Like it's the only thing l'd ever do"
Harry finishes singing in the recording booth, getting a thumbs up from the producer. He smiles back, leaving the booth and going out into the hallway, where his assistant is waiting for him.
"Hey Harry, there's someone here to see you," his assistant says as they begin to walk down the hall.
"I thought we weren't letting fans into the studio? And I thought we managed to make it here without them seeing?" Harry says.
"Well… the guy's insisting that he knows you personally."
"Isn't that what a desperate fan would say?" Harry chuckles. He's not mad either way. He's used to fans overstepping a little. He'll take a picture with whoever it is, and then be back to work.
"He says you wrote some songs about him.”
Harry stops dead in his tracks. "He did?"
"Yes," the assistant nods.
"What was his name?" Harry asks.
"I didn't ask.. sorry," she replies.
"…um, it's okay... it's.. fine," Harry's mind begins to move quickly.
Because even as five years have passed since he saw Louis, he remains the only person he's written his songs for.
"I can ask him to leave," she suggests.
"No" Harry shakes his head quickly. "Don't."
"Well, um... he's in the waiting room, so I'll... give you some privacy."
Harry is left alone in the hallway just outside of the room that Louis is supposedly in. He's insanely nervous.
It's been five years. Five years of feeling hollow and alone. His heart still aches for him. All this time, he's just learned to live with it.
But even now, his heart still beats for Louis the same. He feels eighteen again.
Finally, Harry takes one final deep breath before finally walking into the room.
And there he is.
Louis.
He looks mostly the same, a bit more facial hair, but just as attractive.
"Hey," he says, small smile playing on his lips.
His eyes look a bit watery, but Harry feels the same. It's surreal to see him after all this time.
"Holy shit," Harry says, stunned. "I can't believe you're here.. I mean, it's been so long, and…”
"I know... it's crazy," Louis replies. "I always wanted to come to England and see where my family lived.. but lately I've had more motivation to actually do it... because I wanted to see you. Sorry it took me so long."
Harry frowns. "What do you mean?"
“I know you came to see me," Louis says. "But I wasn't there. And Zayn told you to leave. He finally told me about it."
"That was four years ago," Harry says. "He kept it a secret for that long?"
"No... he told me about it a couple months later," Louis admits. "And then I started saving up to come see you."
"You've been planning this for that long?" Harry asks.
"Well, it hasn't always been smooth sailing.. but yes. I have," Louis nods.
Harry thought this whole time that Louis didn't want to see him, or that at least, they shouldn't see each other. But in reality, Louis has been working his ass off to get to this moment. He's spent four years planning it.
"How long are you in town?" Harry asks.
Louis smiles. "Harry... it didn't take me four years to save up for just a trip. My books have been on the bestseller's list, sales are high…I came to stay."
"What?" Harry can't believe it..
"I bought a house. I live here now" Louis says.
Harry can only stare. Because for five years, he's been struggling and feeling so lost without Louis, but now it's like he's being rewarded. For the first time ever, Harry is hopeful.
"Do you... uh... wanna go get some coffee?" he asks.
A little while later
"So.. um.. how have you been?" Harry asks.
"Good….. for the most part. Writing and publishing books has been great after I wrote Summer Love. I actually have a big following of young adult readers now, which is pretty cool," Louis answers.
"Well, you deserve it... You're an amazing writer," Harry says.
"You've read my work?" Louis asks.
"Of course I have.. every bit of it," Harry admits.
Louis smiles softly. "Wasn't sure if you would want to.."
"Honestly, it was hard at first, but I always wanted to..." Harry admits. "I was kinda desperate to just read something you'd wrote... to feel some sort of connection to you again."
"That's how I felt listening to your music," Louis says. "Even after all this time, I never stopped missing you."
Harry's heart speeds up. Louis missed him.
"Me either," he replies.
"I know it's been a long time, and a lot of things have changed… so, you probably are… but... are you seeing anyone?" Louis asks.
"No," Harry says quickly. '"I'm not... There hasn't really been anyone… since you."
Louis looks down, a light blush spreading across his face. "Not for me either.”
"So… we are both living in the same city... and we both feel the same... I almost don't even know what to do," Harry grins.
"Isn't it obvious?" Louis asks.
"I wanna hear you say it," Harry says.
"Harry, will you go out with me... again?" Louis asks.
Harry can't contain his happiness as he smiles widely and replies. "Yes."
"We can start all over," Louis says. "But this time, no expiration date."
"I'd love that," Harry says.
It's the beginning of something new and amazing, and Harry can't believe it. He is going to start seeing Louis again. Five years feels like almost nothing now with how incredibly whole he feels just in Louis presence.
They continue to catch up, talking about all the things they'd gotten up to since they last saw each other. Eventually, they leave the coffee shop, Harry keeping his head low as they walk out so he doesn't get recognized.
They walk back to the studio, where Louis' car is parked.
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow then….. for our first official date?" Louis says.
Harry smiles. "I can't wait."
"Bye, H," Louis says.
"Bye, Lou," Harry waves goodbye, turning to go back into the building.
But then he stops.
They're starting over. But Harry is still in love with Louis. And he's pretty sure that Louis is too.
"Don't say it," Louis mutters, seeing that look in Harry's eyes. "Don't. Because once you say it, you can't take it back. And that will make this a million times harder."
Harry takes a deep breath, looking down at the floor. He nods. "Goodbye, Louis."
Harry doesn't feel any differently today than he did that day. He's not going to walk away ever again.
"Wait-" he says, turning around and walking right up to Louis.
And then he kisses him, connecting their lips with heavy meaning. Louis kisses him back, their bodies pressed together as they stand there on the sidewalk.
It's everything. Every bit of love, pain, fear, hopelessness, and regret Harry's felt in the past five years. But it's also every bit of hope, every bit of closure that he's ever needed.
It's like coming back to life after being in a five year slump. It's like waking up in heaven. It's cigarettes and ice cream on the beach. It's warm blankets and sex at midnight as the waves crash onto the shore. It's poetry and music. It's walking in on the love of your life dancing along to Grease. It's holding your lover close on the last night of your great summer love affair. It's kissing on the Ferris wheel. It's embarrassing yourself in front of your crush. It's fireworks and falling in love.
It's finding the one person you're meant to spend the rest of your life with and never letting them go.
When the kiss ends, Harry leaves his forehead pressed to Louis.
"I love you," Harry says. "I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I don't need to start over because I am exactly the same as the day I left. I've loved you for so long, and I've waited for the day I finally get to tell you. I didn't know how badly I loved you until I left, and maybe I was stupid for leaving, but I don't regret the things that brought us to this moment here and now. Because I amnever letting you go again. If you want to start over, I'll do that, but I'm telling you that I don't need to..."
Louis looks into his eyes with tears in his own. "Harry, I don't need to start over either. I'm right where you left me. Hopelessly infatuated, obsessed, in adoration, in love with you."
Harry doesn't waste another moment, kissing him again and again.
Finally, he feels at home.

Today's thoughts: TICKET PRICES
Let's talk about it.
Harry's London ON tickets are £47.72 (which is roughly $62 in American dollars). This is significantly higher than the New York ONO tickets, which are $25. A lot of people are upset about this, and it's understandable. But here's why this happened:
Harry's team pays a certain amount to perform at each venue. However, this amount varies from venue to venue. The VENUE charges Harry's team a set amount, and then, Harry's team uses that amount to set a price for each ticket.
Because of the specific differences in venues and their charges, ticket prices in different locations are going to be higher or lower depending on how much it's costing Harry to actually perform there. In order to make a profit, Harry can't just set the tickets for the London ONO as $25 like the NY ONO, because then, he would have no profit from the event and possibly lose money in the performance.
And you can't expect him to raise the price for NY either because then he would be charging more than what is necessary. He's not money hungry, so he's only charging what is required to make enough profit from the event.
It's unbalanced, and unfair, yes. It's unfortunate for those who can only attend the London show, and not the NY show. But please understand that there is a lot of factors that go into planning a performance, most of them varying depending on the venue.
I'm not saying you can't be upset, but just try to understand. As far as normal concert ticket prices go, the ONO prices are low, and we're lucky that Harry wants to do them (and in multiple locations!).
So, let's be mindful of that before we constantly complain about these things. It's easier to try to be understanding, especially when it's something we can't control.
Chapter 15
One year later
"Now, here for the first time," James Corden introduces. "He's just released an album that has broken streaming records and topped the charts in only a few days, it's Harry Styles!"
The crowd cheers as Harry walks onstage and sits, waving at them and smiling.
"Welcome, welcome," James says. "Harry, how does it feel to have a debut album with such success?"
"It's insane, really," Harry says. "It's crazy to think that no one knew who I was a year ago."
"And now, everyone knows! That's definitely an accomplishment, to rise to fame so quickly!"
Harry blushes. "I'm not sure everyone knows, but I'll take the compliment."
"Good, good. Harry, I've gotta say, I listened to the whole album and the entire time, I was curious. It's a lot of love songs…”
Harry nods. "Yes, it is."
"Are you currently dating anyone?" James asks.
"Uh, no.. not at the moment," Harry answers.
"Really? Handsome guy like you, with an album full of love songs?" James asks. "Surely, there's someone you've written all these songs for at least..."
"Well.." Harry pauses for a moment. "There is someone, but... we can't be together. He and I… we were only together for the summer. The music especially the song I'll be performing tonight… is about that summer. The best summer of my life."
"Wow... well, we can't wait to hear you perform," James says.
Commercial break
"Now, performing a song from his debut album, it's Harry Styles singing Summer Love!"
Harry steps up to the mic as the music begins to play around him. He takes a deep breath, running a hand through his hair. He hopes that somewhere out there, Louis is watching. He'll never know, but he can hope.
"Can't believe I'm packing my bags, Trying so hard not to cry Had the best time and now it's the worst time, But we have to say goodbye
Don't promise that you're gonna write Don't promise that you'll call Just promise that you won't forget we had it all
'Cause you were mine for the summer Now we know it's nearly over Feels like snow in September But I always will remember
You were my summer love You always will be my summer love
Wish that we could be alone now If we could find some place to hide Make the last time just like the first time Push a button and rewind
Don't say the word that's on your lips Don't look at me that way Just promise you'll remember When the sky is grey
'Cause you were mine for the summer Now we know it's nearly over Feels like snow in September But I always will remember
You were my summer love You always will be my summer love
So please don't make this any harder We can't take this any farther And I know there's nothing that I wanna change, change
'Cause you were mine for the summer Now we know it's nearly over Feels like snow in September But I always will remember
You were my summer love You always will be my summer love You always will be my summer love You always will be my summer love."

Chapter 14
Months pass. Harry still feels that heartbreak deep within his chest. It has made a home there, and Harry doesn't think that feeling will ever go away.
But slowly, things become more tolerable. He starts living more, going out more, trying new ways to be recognized for his music. He never completely forgets about that heavy feeling in his heart, but he's able to at least ignore it sometimes.
He doesn't date. Doesn't feel a real need to. Why would he, when he already knows who his other half is… even if he can't have him.
He's able to go through his normal life without relating every little thing back to Louis. Suddenly, a blanket is just a blanket. Ice cream is just ice cream. Carnivals are fun again. Even so, he can't quite smell cigarette smoke without thinking of him.
But things do get better. In some ways.
November
"Harry, go get some groceries tonight, we're almost out" his mothers says as he walks into the kitchen one morning.
“I can't tonight," Harry replies. "I'm going to an open mic night to sing some of my songs, I told you this, remember?"
"For god's sake, Harry," his mum rolls her eyes. "When are you gonna give up on this music thing. It's not like you're even that talented."
Harry feels his blood begin to boil, a familiar feeling when his mother talks about his music aspirations.
"You've never even heard me play."
"Sure I have," she says, huffing in annoyance.
"When?" Harry crosses his arms expectantly.
"I don't remember" she answers. "It was a while ago."
Harry takes a deep breath before he speaks again. "Would it kill you to be supportive just once? To make me feel like I matter even just a little bit to you? I mean, come on, Mum! Some days I feel like I'm just here for you to walk all over, and I'm tired of it!"
Harry's mum stands frozen. He's never really been one to talk back or yell. He's always just gone to his room and sulked. It's clear he's caught her off guard.
"Ever since Gemma died, it's like you disappeared. You've been grieving for so long and that's okay, because I miss her so much too. But you still have a child to love. You still have me," Harry's voice wavers a little. "Don't lose me too."
And then, Harry's mother breaks down. She bursts into tears, and Harry quickly moves forward to wrap his arms around her. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry," she repeats in whispers.
Harry cries too, because it's the first time in years that his mother has showed any real feelings for him.
"You're right," she finally says. “I'm sorry for not being supportive I'll…. I'll try harder……… I love you, Harry."
Harry could cry hearing those words from her.
It's the start of something new. Something good.
And that night, when Harry looks into the crowd at the open mic night, he sees his mother standing proudly. It's more than he could've asked for.
A few months later
Harry stared at the book in his hands. Niall was hovering nearby, afraid to leave him alone. It was obviously about Harry and Louis.
Their summer. Their story.
He flipped open the book to the foreword, reading it with a clenching feeling in his heart.
It hurts. A lot.
Over the next few weeks, Harry picks up the book to read bits and pieces whenever he feels like he needs to. But he never gets too many pages in before he starts crying or gets overwhelmed.
But in the mess of it all, Harry writes too. He writes more songs than he's ever written before. And he uses the pain he feels as motivation.
And one night, when he's singing them at an open mic night, a music producer watches him and offers to introduce him to a label.
A couple weeks later

Chapter 13
September hurts. Harry keeps waiting for the feeling to subside, but it never does. It gets worse. He tries to move on with his life, getting a job at a record store, writing music and entering contests to try to get noticed. But none of that can keep his mind off of Louis.
If September hurts, October is a hailstorm. It doesn't get easier. Every thing Harry sees, he relates it back to Louis. He can't seem to forget him. Ice cream. Cigarettes. Sunshine. White T-shirts. Poems. Songs. Notebooks. Carnivals. McDonald's. Seashells. Blankets. Blue eyes. Grease.
It's all Louis. And there's nothing he can do but hurt.
November is cold. Harry's heart feels like it's frozen in time. The only place that could thaw it is the warmth of North Carolina, or perhaps the one living there.
Harry deletes Louis' contact and unfollows his social media. Because even though Louis never posts anymore, Harry can't bear to see his profile. It hurts too much.
Before Harry realizes it, he's been away from Louis for longer than he was with him. Still, it doesn't get easier. He begins to feel hopeless. He's depressed, heartbroken, and everything feels so grey.
Christmas Eve arrives and Harry wonders if Louis is celebrating somewhere with his friends. He doesn't try to search him up again. He just hopes that wherever he is, he's happy.
He's 21 now, Harry remembers. Maybe he's out getting his first legal drink. Or maybe he's just as miserable as Harry, sitting home alone in the dark.
In January, February, and March, Harry writes. He writes thousands of words. His emotions pour out into the songs he writes. But his heart doesn't heal.
It's been months, but Harry hasn't changed. He's still the same boy who fell in love with someone he shouldn't have. And while thousands of people make that same mistake, he doesn't move on.
But in May, he begins to plan.
June
Bentsville, NC
Harry is beyond nervous. It's been so long, but God, if Louis has missed Harry even half as much as Harry has missed him, this has to be the right decision.
Right?
He steps up to the familiar apartment door, taking a deep breath. He knocks, heart pounding in his chest.
He's afraid, and there's no turning back now. He's here. He came back for him. He just hopes that Louis still feels the same about him.
And then, someone opens the door.
"Harry?"
"Zayn," Harry says, the older boy standing in the doorway. “I'm sorry, I didn't know if I should tell anyone I was coming but uh... is Louis here?"
Zayn looks at Harry sadly. "Sorry, Harry.… he's not."
"Oh. uh. well…. When will he be back?" Harry asks.
"No idea," Zayn tells him.
"Where is he?"
Zayn sighs. "Louis has only been here a couple times since he left in November. I don't know where exactly he is all the time, but he's been dealing with a lot of stuff... so… he's been gone most of the time."
"Oh.." Harry's heart sinks. Louis isn't here. Hasn't been for a while.
"It's stuff with his family, you know," Zayn explains. "He's been trying to get his mom clean. She's been doing better. He doesn't think she'll need to do anything drastic. And.. he also has been trying to find his dad for the past few months. He just wants some closure, and to meet him. I'm sorry you came all the way here for nothing."
Harry sighs. "Do you think you could tell him I was here?"
Zayn looks conflicted. He's quiet for a long time before he finally answers. "I don't think it's a good idea if he knew you were here."
"Why?" Harry asks. He's not mad, he just needs to know. Why wouldn't Louis want to see him?
"Harry.. After you left, Louis didn't leave his room for a month. He didn't talk to anyone, not even me. He dropped out of college because he couldn't get out of bed long enough to get to class... But I also know that if he were here, he'd take you back in a heartbeat,” Zayn says. "Which is why I don't think he should see you."
Harry didn't know an of this obviously. And fuck, Louis dropped out because of him? Harry feels like he's completely wrecked his life. He gets why Zayn is telling him no.
"The only way that it would be okay, is if you were here to stay for good," Zayn says.
"But I'm not... I can't stay... I wish I could but... I'm really trying to follow my dreams back home," Harry admits. He hadn't really thought that far ahead. He just wanted to see Louis again.
"And that's okay," Zayn says. "But Louis can't see you if you aren't going to stay."
Harry nods. "You're right."
Later that day
North Carolina is different without Louis. Harry walks to the places they used to visit, and somehow they seem less magical, less nostalgic. He walks on the beach, and while it's peaceful, it doesn't feel like home the way it use to. The ice cream doesn't taste as good. The pier isn't as pretty. The sand doesn't even seem as white.
The reality is that Harry lost everything that made this place feel like his safe haven. And there's nothing that can be done to save it.
He books a flight back to the UK the next day.

Gonna post my dwd trailer thoughts here bc Twitter is so toxic when it comes to sharing opinions. You don’t have to agree or disagree. It’s just an opinion, even if it is different than yours. So, here goes…
1. The trailer is a little confusing. I have a vague idea of what the plot could be. Alice (Florence) finds out that the Victory Project isn’t what it seems, and that her husband, Jack (Harry), is clearly involved in something he shouldn’t be. But beyond that, I’m lost. Maybe I’m supposed to be in suspense, but there isn’t enough information there to really grab me.
2. Olivia’s character’s screen time vs. Harry’s is a bit jarring. Jack is supposed to be the main character (after Alice, of course), so why is Olivia’s character shown so much more? She even speaks more than Harry does in the trailer. It has me worried about the balancing of their screen time in the whole movie.
3. The oral sex scene was unnecessary in the trailer. Sex scenes in movies are common, and well accepted. I don’t mind them at all. But it’s placement in the trailer seemed strange. Why would that be important enough to include in the trailer when it doesn’t tell us anything new about the plot? I know that sex sells, but it’s not necessary when you are able to grasp viewers with a intriguing plot… especially since this is supposed to be a thriller movie.
4. I have a feeling that the acting is what is going to “save” this movie for a lot of people. With actors like Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, and Chris Pine, the actual acting in the movie is surely amazing. The trailer gives us a small glimpse of these actors that will hopefully carry this movie.
5. Overall, I’m indifferent to the idea of watching the movie. I would watch for the actors, but the plot is just… meh, as far as I can tell. If it had a cast of non-mainstream actors, I wouldn’t be interested enough to even watch the trailer tbh.
Chapter 12
Over the next few weeks
Time passes so quickly. Every moment feels nostalgic. Every kiss feels all too real. Every second comes oh too soon.
And before they know it, they're out of time.
xxxxxxxxxxx
August 30th
Harry wakes up on his last day in North Carolina with Louis wrapped around him. He's awake already, breathing softly and tracing gentle shapes onto his skin.
They don't get out of bed until afternoon. Dana makes them lunch, and then they go out for ice cream because Louis wants Harry to experience his favorite things here one last time.
By late afternoon, Harry brings his guitar out to the beach, singing some of his songs for Louis to hear one last time. And then, they go swimming, splashing around like children.
Even as the night falls, they don't leave the sandy beach. Harry doesn't want to.
It's so peaceful and he knows that all the chaos and hurt of his life will come crashing back down on him in the UK.
They kiss, and they cuddle on a blanket in the sand. They talk for hours, staring up at the stars. It's surreal. It's painful.
They don't sleep, only wanting to spend their last few hours together awake in each other's presence.
The sun rises, peeking up from the ocean menacingly at them, knowing all too well that this is the end of their great summer love affair.
August 31st
Harry puts the last of his clothes into his suitcase, zipping it up. Louis is sitting on Harry's bed, watching him. His eyes are red, and Harry is certain his are too. This is harder than he thought it would be.
"That's everything," Harry mutters, meeting Louis' eyes.
Louis gets off the bed, walking over to Harry and putting his arms around his waist. "Thank you... so much for this summer," he says, eyes looking more and more watery. "I've had... the best time of my life."
"Me too," Harry begins to cry. "Louis.. you've made everything brighter. The sand, the sea.. don't think I've ever experienced someone who makes everything as good as you."
Louis wipes away a tear. "God, I'm gonna miss you so fucking much."
He connects their lips then, kissing Harry with his emotions pouring out from him. And Harry kisses him back with the same fervor. He wants to convey everything he feels, and words are simply not enough.
When they break apart, Louis helps Harry carry his bags out to Dana's car.
"I'll give you a moment," she says, leaving them alone in the entry of her house.
"I guess this is.. goodbye," Harry says.
Louis cups his cheeks, pulling him in for another kiss. It's soft, but it lasts for a long moment. "Goodbye."
And God, it fucking hurts so much. Harry feels a heavy weight in his chest as he turns away from Louis, tears prickling mercilessly at his eyes.
He only takes two steps before Louis speaks again, though.
"Wait."
Harry turns back, eyes questioning.
"Don't go," Louis mutters. "You can stay here. Don't go back to England. You can write music a-and follow your dreams and I'll finish college and we can do whatever we want and-"
"Louis," Harry says sadly, another tear falling down his face. "I can't."
"Why not?" Louis asks. Harry can tell he's desperate by the way his voice quivers.
"Because... you taught me a lot of things, Louis. You taught me about American, and poetry, and surfing, and which beaches have the best seashells, but the most important thing you taught me... was that I'm good enough. And that I deserve more... I can't stay because... I came here to run away from my problems. I don't want to run away anymore. I want to face them. I want to get what I deserve. And while I would absolutely love to stay, I can't. Because I deserve to be the hero in my own story. I have to fight for myself."
Louis bites his lip, but nods. "I know."
Harry looks at the boy he fell for in just a few months. They're both breaking hearts in human form, standing in their own wake.
I love you.
"Don't say it," Louis mutters, seeing that look in Harry's eyes. "Don't. Because once you say it, you can't take it back. And that will make this a million times harder."
Harry takes a deep breath, looking down at the floor. He nods. "Goodbye, Louis."
And then, he walks away.
"Don't promise that you're gonna write. Don't promise that you'll call. Just promise that you won't forget we had it all."
Late that night
The flight is long, and Harry should have slept through it, but he doesn't. He stares blankly out the window, the harsh reality of everything hitting him at once.
He's never going to see Louis again.
He's never going to see the love of his life again.
It's late when the plane lands, but Niall is waiting for him at the airport with a tight hug.
"Can I stay with you tonight?" Harry asks. "I'm not ready to go home."
"Of course," Niall says.
They drive back to Niall's in silence. Harry doesn't want to talk about it, and Niall can sense that.
All Harry can think about is how each mile they drive is another mile further away from Louis.
Nothing has made him feel this empty.
