I love spit so much.
halfway in pain for a tooth inflection, halfway thrilled at meta potentially being banned from europe
i just want to fast forward this period when i have no written thesis YET, no job found YET, no real prospects YET, nothing at all just waiting till destiny swings again somewhere somewhen somewhat

“Sarò il fuoco ed il freddo, riparo d’inverno, sarò ciò che respiri, capirò cos’hai dentro. E sarò l’acqua da bere, il significato del bene. Sarò anche un soldato o la luce di sera.
E in cambio non chiedo niente, soltanto un sorriso: ogni tua piccola lacrima è oceano sopra il mio viso. E in cambio non chiedo niente, solo un po’ di tempo: sarò vessillo, scudo o la tua spada d’argento.”
“My soul has been so fearful, so violent: forgive its brutality.”
— Louise Glück, from “Crossroads” in Poems 1962-2012 (via pigmenting)
today i feel relieved different than the other days full of a spur of constant anxiety and stress even if nothing really changed
News From Home (1977), dir. Chantal Akerman.
im back to tumblr after years of not posting anymore and i have this mixed feelings because on one side i have a nostalgic melancholia of little me despite the tragedy of a life i was just assisting to but on the other side im now much happier
i will try to keep this as a diary
so much changed & i changed so much
this would have been even more fitting if there was the stars card
Herbert James Draper, The Lament for Icarus (1898), detail.
“Now that which is must needs be when it is, and that which is not must needs not be when it is not.”
-Aristotle, probably high or something.
my last blog name on tumblr used to be ᐃᒃᑦᓱᐊᕐᐳᒃ (“iktsuarpuk”), namely to go outside often to check if someone is coming. i don’t check outside anymore. maybe someone really came eventually. funny.
