Notes that make you fucking insane
France is just the brother of britain ? We shame britain. We shame france. No one gets left.
wow... yeah, you're really showing how much you hate capitalism by ... (checks notes) ... paying $10 for a fucking ice-cream...
idiot
We must reframe the narratives/dialog.

If you see an Irish person speaking on European C-SPAN you know it's about to be a banger
seeing a lot of discourse within the british media about these strikes, most notably the fact that several pundits and politicians are claiming that raising wages will "increase inflation".
to be completely blunt, this claim is absolute bullshit. wages haven't kept up with inflation since the 2007 financial crisis, and yet corporations (e.g. private rail companies) have reported record profits. so how the fuck is it acceptable for corporations to enjoy massive profits, but when workers demand pay rises to be able to afford to live, its somehow wrong?
and yes, i know strikes are disruptive, but that's kind of the fucking point. direct action, whether industrial or social only works when disruptive.
so yeah, support the strikes, support workers, and fuck the companies who refuse to pay them properly.
Hundreds of homeless people die in the streets each year from the heat, in cities around the U.S. and the world
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be born into money and privilege. Then I thank God that I wasn't, otherwise I might end up like Kylie Jenner tone deafly posting "my jet or yours đ€©" in the middle of a global warming crisis primarily caused by toxic emissions pumped out by celebrities and billionaires like her. She gets to choose which massive vehicle of environmental destruction she wants to use for what's probably a short ass drive, but we're the ones that are guilt tripped and shamed into bettering the environment that they destroyed on a whim. Shit like this is why we fucking hate rich people.

Marxist Economist TELLS THE TRUTH About Inflation (w/ Fadhel Kaboub)
This week, economist Fadhel Kaboub returns to the podcast to follow up on a recent conversation about price controls with Richard Wolff. Are they really the solution? What are the pros and cons? How do you respond to people who point to Nixonâs price controls as proof that price controls donât work? And what is the leftâs final word on how to respond to inflation?
Seeing the posts about pharmacies refusing to refill birth control (which is 100% awful) after the roe ruling and all these people saying stuff like "how could they be allowed to not fill a prescription!? This can't happen in our control! It's got to be illegal"
And it's like, uhhhh this has been happening for years with controlled substances and chronic pain patients. You just wouldn't listen to us.
It doesn't make this situation any better or worse. It's fucked. But it's not a new occurrence.

When I was homeless a while back, I had the cops called on me for dumb shit. One of which, which is absolutely crazy, was when someone gave me money (that I didnât ask for, he just saw me and asked if I needed anything. I said I was okay and he gave me money for food). They accused me of asking for money and threatened to arrest me for loitering or some shit when I was at a public park when they pulled up. I had to leave with nowhere else to go. I just went to the other park a half mile away lol. But I wouldnât bother anyone and would mind my own business only for cops to show up saying they got a call. One cop was cool and basically said âfuck the callerâ bought me food and told me about possible options. The rest were asshats ready to take me to jail for *checks notes* being alive and not living in a house?
It's my workplace and I'll wander around sobbing hysterically if I want too.
