This was the little guy I got back in October. Today, I had his necropsy performed. The vet tentatively believes the cause of death wasn’t due to infection, but we’re sending tissue samples out to the lab for further analysis Monday or Tuesday to rule everything out.

Reminder to everyone to properly quarantine all new animals for several months before bringing them into your general population. I (tentatively) got lucky this time that it wasn’t anything that could’ve infected my other pets despite quarantine.
