I know we’re in a holding pattern. It sucks. I finally found someone who does have a contact inside PPG and they’re saying the government is involved which we all kind of knew. Not a huge surprise, especially when the police got involved.
(Side note: Valko is definitely coming back because when we heard about that, I was able to spell schadenfreude without looking it up. I earned my wolf boy with that!)
But serious time: What does this mean? They may not be able to say anything. They may have to go on as “normal” until everything is cleared. How long is that going to take? Don’t know. But we will see some weird stuff happening. Hells, we already are! (Yes, usually I’m a D&D/BG3 girlie!)
Absolutely no news? About anything? That’s not them avoiding accountability. That’s them either unable to because of some requirement from an external source OR them waiting on a trigger (a decision being made, etc.) before making another comment. A company in complete radio silence isn’t holding out for people to forget while it’s in trouble across the board. Thats how you become irrelevant especially in a space like games where competition is fierce. People are going to get pissed and stay pissed and go spend their attention elsewhere.
Also, I don’t think this necessarily means anything but I haven’t seen it mentioned: all the posts are still on the “official” Reddit account. Basically, I’ve been checking there, IG and TT. All quiet. It’s *weird* and significant.
Hold the course. Our wolf boy will be ours. It might just take longer than we thought. My hope is still that we wake up tomorrow and he’s just there but that isn’t going to happen!
