I....I didn't like Gen at first, like I thought his character design was cool and all but then he talked about wanting a harem and I was like "oh great he's gonna be the token pervert character. 😮‍💨"

But then like other than that comment about not minding being tied up by Kohaku.....he literally does nothing else or even says anything else even remotely hinting at a harem or wanting a girl.

Then Senku's birthday/the observatory/"I've always admired you" happened

And I was like "hold up... didn't you want a harem of cute girls?"

Then the "Asagiri Gen and Ishigami Senku will happily fall into hell together." Happened

And I was like "he never wanted a harem of cute girls, that man was lying out of his gay ass, because he's a lying liar that lies."

But for real though shipping aside. I really grew to love him, and I'm glad he became such a vital character in the series.
