I am unfortunately infected with "Gets attached to the main character automatically" disease so *I* care about the traveler. But I know most you don't. Which is the writing's fault.

Why should we care about the traveler finding their sibling if we don't know what they're like? Or what their relationship was? Or anything about either of them?

Any small crumbs of characterization with them gets immediately over shadowed and or in easy to miss places.

Like their dream with the abyss herald in Sumeru. It's literally has the Abyss Herald saying that their sibling abandoned them and doesn't care about them.

That's key information about their fears and feelings that should be important. But it doesn't have time to rest or for the Traveler to reflect on it and it's never mentioned again.

I don't think this is mentioned outside of weapon lore and character stories but their homeworld is destroyed. That's why they started traveling from world to world in the first place.

Suddenly "The traveler wants to find their sibling because they are the only things they have left." Becomes extremely easy to infer. But the average player doesn't know this because it's from a PlayStation only weapon's lore.

Don't get me started on "Let's show the majority of their personality in their voice lines that no one listens to."

I HATE how they tried to make the Traveler some sort of self-insert despite the clear fact that they have a set design and backstory. They should have went 100% with them being their own self and let them goddam speak and have their own personnality.

Instead we have this blank over designed thing that both fails to be a self-insert AND a proprer character

You know, something that's crazy to me is how in games, my favorites are always girls and that's kinda expected since they tend to sell better to a wider male audience so there's always more of them and they're more worked on and stuff

Yet in PGR its the opposite i'm way more interested in the guys

Idk why

(Not to say i don't care for the girls, i love Lucia, Liv to death because the story is well written in making us feel so much for them. But when it comes to collecting frames and skin and building their kits, they don't have that much of my attention)
