People really underestimate the power of just telling someone you like them. romantically obviously but hell even just platonically too. You can admit you enjoy peoples presence it doesn’t have to be mind games it’s okay to just be sincere and true with your thoughts and intentions btw
Updates on the chainmail outfits: now we have a sword
Very normal empire
This is a clear example of why your society has to be militaristic as hell the moment the US openly hates you
Also I'll be very honest im very sad that despite everything cuba has done for do many, very few have done anything to support it
History will remember the 2026 war on Iran as the moment that revealed to the world that America is no longer quite the power it once was.
Running low on interceptors before you can shut down launch capacity? Getting your radar "eyes" gouged out? Having to withdraw from a position because of this?! In a war of choice against a mere regional power!
These are the things potential adversaries were supposed to feel were impossible! These were subtle unstated lynchpins in the reputation and image that American foreign policy relies on.
Someday, this will have been the moment when the world first realized America could be beaten, at a price point that many nations could afford, so long as you didn't make it personal with a 9/11 or a Pearl Harbor.
WHICH IS ALL TO SAY — the thing nobody is talking about: the pharma supply chain. CNBC ran a piece on generic drugs and Hormuz that should terrify anyone who takes medication. Half of US generic drugs are manufactured in India and transit the Strait. Stockpiles are limited. Cancer drug air routes are being disrupted by no-fly zones. Hindalco — major Indian manufacturer — invoked force majeure and halted aluminum product sales. Vietnam is bracing for flight cuts because China and Thailand banned jet fuel exports. The supply chain damage from this war is metastasizing into sectors that have nothing to do with oil, and it's happening while the S&P rallies 1.3% because someone decided the escalation ladder has a ceiling. The market is trading the missile count. The real economy is trading the shipping routes. Those are two very different wars.
[voice of a guy who's only been awake for 37 minutes] well that was a long day. a nap is well deserved

(successful standup comic pivoting onto a new topic) so you know how everyone always feels like scared little children, right?
What a sad news.
Zelenogorsk, the viral Pallas’s cat famous for sitting on his tail to keep his paws warm, has passed away on 5 feb. 2026.
He lived more than twice the average lifespan of a Pallas's cat and fathered 35 kittens.
Fluffy legend, thanks for everything. May the heavenly steppe welcome you.
RIP Zelenogorsk ❤️🩹
