Undeniably, the woman was amused at the display of Steve’s range of rational behavior.That’s what made him Steve —- - Captain America. Slowly, a grin formed on her lips as she stared at the other. God, how Toni loved messing with the blonde.
❝ Gee, Capsicle. Lighten up your stars and stripes and should I even act like I’m hurt? It’s just how things went. It’s the natural order of things - you and I. We’re rubbing alcohol and bleach —- - come on, simple logic. Mix those two together and shit happens. Your nervous system gets damaged, Rogers.

Of course, the woman was clad in a business attire —- - pencil skirt and a lovely top with a blazer. It was an awful day filled with bullshit, rather. And Toni glances up at the Captain, having a crazed expression.
❝ Hey —- Rogers. Why don’t you and I get some R&R, watch a movie? If it means anything to you, that’s how you can help me. It’s still a little early for us to do something.
Come on, it’d be fun try’na see you catch up in what’s hot and what’s not. ❞
Steve just let out a small sigh and crossed his arms. He knew what she was doing. He wasn't that dumb with this. Although her little jokes were not funny he tried to ignore that. Soon after Steve pulled a small smile onto his face. Not with the words she was saying-- it was a way to confused her.
"Nicknames again? Why can't you just call me by my name, Ms.Stark. It's a lot better if you did." he said lightly looking at her. "But I guess you are right. we aren't chemically mix together."
He shook his head a little before he laughed a little. Did he really just say that? Wow that would be a first.
"--My nervous system is fine-- nothing wrong with it."
Taking a moment Steve just blinked and stared at her. It's one to ask him to do anything-- another to just sit down and do nothing. It wasn't home to have any R&R. Shaking his head he shrugged.
"--If you will have me, I don't mind. But you should know, I don't care about what's... Hot and not."
"--Nice long run did good today. I needed to let off some steam."

He said lightly and shook his head. "--and here I was, trying to be nice to you-- Guess I can't even do that when you are around." he shrugged rolling his eyes again.

"Stark. Do you need anything? if not-- I have something to do.It's really strange for you to come and fine me like this."
"Hobbies," Phil thinks, giving Steve a smile. "Besides randomly sending Director Fury text messages asking when he’s going to replace my Captain America cards? He’s changed his private number several times in the last few months and he has no idea who keeps giving me his new one. I really haven’t had time to get back into any real hobbies, besides decorating my new field office."
He nods. “Well, Mr. Stark has gone through his own near death experiences lately, with the Mandarin. He has the habit of burying himself in his work deeper than I do. At least I sleep… I wouldn’t take it personally.”
Steve couldn't help but let out a small laugh and a huge smile. He knew Phil was a big fan of him, it just made him just smile knowing someone really liked him that much-- for being what people had made him be. Nodding. "I see. But yeah-- those cards were not in good shape.Really sorry about those." She said shrugging. "If you get any new ones-- I'll make sure to sign them for you." He said keeping his smile. "--Well decorating can be--fun."
"Haven't we all? Stark has had--what maybe 3 times he's almost dead. Try going to war. It's a lot---Worst." He stated a little and shrugged. "I stop taking things personally. It means nothing if I do. But then again, Sleep can do one of two things. Make you feel like you are wasting time-- or just.. Make you more tired."
"Is hmm supposed to mean something?"
"---Not really, just thinking Stark."

Steve just nodded and looked at the blonde. Something felt strange with her. Couldn't put his mind to it.

He blinked for a moment and shook his head. Stephanie Rogers? That was an odd name. But some names can be common. Just like his own last name.
"--No, I don't need anything, but thank you as well." He said giving her a small nodded.
"--And to be nice, my Name is Steve.. Steve Rogers." He said taking a small breath just smiling.
"I have been… Better," Phil says, nodding slightly. He’s not entirely surprised that word has filtered down that he’s alive. One of the worst kept secrets of SHIELD at the moment. "Working helps with some of the PTSD." Agent Coulson pauses briefly, forgetting momentarily that Steve may not know what the acronym means. "Shell shock," he clarifies. "Keeps my mind off things."
"So how have you been since New York?"
Steve looked at the other for a moment and let out a small sigh.He tried not to show the sigh really but he could tell that Phil wasn't himself-- or what he heard about. Smiling a little he nodded as the man talked. "I see. But sometimes work can cause yourself to be stress, don't be stress and just relax. I know i'm not one to talk-- but then again everyone needs their rest." he said giving the other a reassuring smile. "--No hobbies? only work? Got to do something else, Agent."
"---Since New York? Well.. I've been, trying to get used to things. I'm not all friendly with Tech. But I've been getting small helps with Tony on that, I think he's annoyed with me right now, so I stop asking him for help. Other then that, I've been taking small tips around New York to see what is different from back in the day." He said shrugging. "--Plus work. Whatever Furry has me working on really. I think he's trying to get me out just as much as anyone."
