Something I love about fanfic reading and being a muliti-shipper is noticing the difference in ships with one same character (if that makes sense)
Sambucky and Stucky for example:
In sambucky fic’s (the few i’ve read) sam always holds bucky’s flesh/real hand and the writers always write something along the lines of Sam sees past the winter soldier and the things bucky’s done as him and just sees bucky
And for Stucky fics (again, few i’ve read) notice writers have steve hold Bucky’s metal/vibranieum hand writing things along the lines of steve doesn’t care what Bucky’s done and how they’ll both work through their struggles together
Its a small detail I’ve noticed and think is adorable
