okay, so…. Let’s talk about this bullshit we call the comic industry?
This is not related to Deadpool, this is related to DC/Vertigo comics though. I don’t know if many of you guys heard about the latest drama of DC, so, let’s do it.
Known Superman Editor and harasser Eddie Berganza have been called out again (not a surprise though). Listen, I work in the industry for more than 15 years now and even I have heard the accusations related to him. I’ve seen a huge number of sexual harassment complaints related to Eddie, but what happened this week was straight out disgusting.
Shelly Bond, one of the biggest editors of DC/Vertigo has contributed infinitely to the DC universe, however, after she complained about the sexual harassment of Eddie, what happened? She simply got fired, like, after dedicating 25 years of her life to DC and this is what she gets. Unnaceptable!
Meanwhile. Eddie Berganza remains there, untouched, as if he never did anything wrong. This market is disgusting, I’ll never get tired of saying this, especially after working so many years for said industry and inside the movie industry as well.
It breaks my heart to know that it doesn’t matter what happens, men will always be forgiven by the media. Always. :/
