hey guys is anyone willing to accept the idea of goth mermaids.

like not sirens, those are mythologically half-bird women. i mean sea-dwelling mermaids, probably residing in the deeper parts of the sea, that aren't the conventional pretty and soft colorful mermaids. im thinking of darker mermaids with black or dark colored tails, living in the deepest parts of the sea.

also can they be not necessarily evil. i think we shouldn't be equating goth/dark to villainous. js a thought.

also mermaids and sea glass. js another thought. sea glass is basically the very pretty product of human trash and i think it'd be rlly cute to see mermaids who collect sea glass instead of shells bc it helps clean up the ocean and i think it fits the aesthetic slightly more than shells, but thats js me personally.

hi guys does anyone else have plagueround ocs... gulp..

this is my son lucas. i love him sm. he grew up as a very chatty boy who loved to sing until he got his curse, which limited literally all of his ability to speak normally.

his curse is that he has a limited amount of words, with the amount resetting every day. he doesn't know the number, so unfortunately, he cant even try to be careful in maintaining his word count. when he runs out of words, his voice literally "mutes".

his parents failed to adapt to his curse. despite lucas using a whiteboard to communicate and currently learning ASL, his parents never listen or make an attempt to understand him outside of using his voice.

poor boy feels like he's utterly useless without his voice, feeling like his parents only love him bc he fills the silence in the house 💔
