What are you most likely to sing at karaoke?

You know that all depends on how drunk I get. If I’m just starting my drinking, Bon Jovi’s Wanted. If I’m drunk drunk then it’s straight to Love Shack.

Any big plans in the future with the family?

You know I don’t know at the moment, I would love to add another kid to the mix but I don’t know only time will really tell.

That in no way makes you a bad father, we as parents sometimes just need a break away. I love my daughter to the moon and back but my sanity sometimes wants to run away.

What is the best and worst thing about your relationship?

Best thing? There are a lot that I can list here but I’m going to with the fact she understands me the best, knows how work can get, she’s also the kindest woman you will ever meet. Worse well at the risk of sleeping on the couch and or the floor of our kids room...she eats in the bed and then doesn’t tell you I have to constantly sweep crumbs off my side of the bed...it’s never her side. @forensicsbaccarin

You favorite time of year and why?

I would have to say Easter or Halloween. Both of those reasoning would tie around my daughter and Morena. I love watching them mess with the eggs and dress up. Even though Halloween is the worse time around the station.

Oh my god, this is speaking right to my soul. I have for sure answered my mobile the way I answer my office phone. It wasn’t great. A vacation sounds amazing right about now. How old is your kid?

It’s been a tiring last few months that I almost wish I had auto correct for my own voice. I think I may put in for one here soon just to take a much need breather. She’s three going to be four soon.

I completely understand this. Working the insane hours at the firehouse makes being a dad really tough. It’s hard to balance both of them, especially when you’re so exhausted just going home.

I can feel that I always feel bad when I can’t be there either when they wake or when they go to sleep. I will say being a firefighter you guys have it a bit more rough when it comes to be exhausted. How old is your kid?

When did you know Morena was the one for you?

I think it was a rainy day, I was struggling with a case that I was working on. I was ready to give up toss in the towel but she was there lifting me up encouraging me, reminding me of why I was doing it that it clicked in, she was the one I wanted to be with til the end of time. @forensicsbaccarin

I think I need a vacation soon, I’ve been doing nothing but work for far to long that I’m almost positive my kid my not remember what my face looks like. I answered the phone this morning with a grunt because my brain couldn’t even come up with ‘Hello, Captain McKenzie speaking.’

I feel as though the station has never been more busy and buzzing with this recent hacking, but I’ve also felt like there’s not been much for me to do. The only evidence is all digital. I feel like I’m just here twiddling my thumbs while everyone else is stressed out. Has anyone else had their job affected? 

Far to much buzz honestly. I miss the good ol’ days when we just had to deal with the misdemeanors. Want to take over some paper work, my eyes are going to start bleeding, it would have been nice if the hackers had actually giving us something more to go on with these things.

Best and worst thing about Morena?

Well one of the best things about her is her everything. She’s put up with a lot with me being the captain, but still every day she has this smile on and everything melts away. Worse thing…well don’t tell her I told you this but she hogs the blankets and snores. @forensicsbaccarin
