BSD but (spoilers for beast) every AU Dazai creates, he has to live in from the moment the AU divides from the og world to until he dies in that world.

Every Monday Dazai comes to work devastated and tired, older somehow, not having been able to save Odasaku, but brushes everyone off saying that his weekly attempt didn't work yesterday either. Nobody buys that, but they know not to push.

Then, one morning, Dazai comes to work, smiling but clearly having cried lately. The reason? Odasaku finally got to live, but Dazai couldn't live with him.

i don't think dazai creating beast is canon, but in the AU that it is, this would be very angsty

BSD, but that one police officer actually shot Ranpo a few seconds before Fukuzawa burst through the window.

fatally or non? because that answer drastically changes the entire series

BSD but The Book only exists because Poe and KUNIKIDA got drunk six years ago in the same bar and accidentally created a singularity using their abilities.

The Book in this looks suspiciously like a notebook.

They were also too drunk to remember doing this, so everything plays out the same up until Poe remembers that one weird notebook he bought in Japan after getting blackout drunk, and of which is in his mansion back home in America.

And he notices how similar it looks to KUNIKIDA’s notebook.

…Hey so remember how Poe’s actually somewhat close to Ranpo in deduction skills? Yeah he takes an hour but he figures out what happened.

BSD AU where everything is the same but everyone is their nickname/title. Example: Dazai is a demon, Akutagawa is a hellhound, Atsushi stays the same(we're tiger), Yosano is an angel of death(either an actual angel or a reaper or something), etc

Bsd but the Rest of the hunting dogs besides Tachihara are in the port mafia

the hunting dogs disband and everyone joins tachi in the mafia

bsd but at some point they all get teleported away to read the day i picked up dazai and stormbringer manga adaptations, then everyone has massive epiphanies and starts crying

Bsd but every time there's tension (even if it's not sexual) that one sexual tension audio plays and the characters can hear it and get confused or angry or whatever

Atsushi and Tecchou would totally get so confused every time

Chuuya and Jouno would get fucking pissed at how often it happens to him

Nikolai would always be trying to make it play to annoy people

Ranpo would absolutely know what's going on and find it really funny

Poe would be driven insane and think ranpo is just trying to get back at him in a very confusing and not understood way

I feel like Fyodor would smash his keyboard into his desk, breaking it in half, during that one fyolai scene because of the audio

Sigma would get confused at first but then just start breaking things

that audio would be constantly playing with how much tension there is in the show

BSD but everyone is some form of were-creature and for most people it’s a secret or they’re unaware of it themselves.

Ranpo is a black cat or panther, Kenji is a werebear, Atsushi is a white tiger of course, the I Am Cat guy is self-explanatory, etc.

Inspired by that one WAN!:

BSD, but there’s been reports of people walking through a local forest during a full moon going missing, only to be found days later, their corpse plucked by wildlife.

Coincidentally, Kenji is a werebear. And everyone who goes missing were on the ADA’s suspect list or are known to the city as having done something wrong (of varying severity), especially things that a certain small farming town would consider a crime worthy of getting labeled as a criminal.

Instead of saying that his village ties criminals to boulders and throws them off a cliff, Kenji says that they tie people to a tree in the woods on a full moon, and then mentions that they swapped to doing so about 8 to 10 years ago.

BSD, but switch around some members of the HD with some members of the ADA.

Like, instead of Dazai, the ADA has an originally unwilling then willing Jouno as their Ex-mob executive.

BSD but Dazai doesn’t wear bandages, instead he just has a white turtleneck with incredibly long sleeves.

The spare bandages go to Atsushi’s poor left leg instead.
