"Fandral of Asgard. One of the Warrior’s Three and defender of the realm," Fandral said with a bow.
Stephanie chuckled a little bit. “Oh, well that explains a lot. thor told me about you, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you, Fandral. No need to bow, really." She ran a hand through her hair absentmindedly and smiled at him.
"So what brings you to Earth?"
"I have simply been charged with the task of meeting all of the Midgardian warriors Thor is friends with, milady."
"Sounds like a neat task." She said with a smile. “Please, you can just call me Stephanie or Steph, whichever you want. How are you liking Midgard and everyone so far?"
"I have been visiting Midgard since before you were born, milady," Fandral said with a small bow. “I enjoy the people here. I find many interesting similarities between those who live on Misgard and those who live on Asgard."
"Oh really?" Stephanie said with a light chuckle. She looked over at Fandral as they walked with a smile. "If I may ask, what are those similarities?"
Stephanie looked slightly surprised when she saw his arm. She smiled then and examined it carefully with her eyes. She thought about Bucky back where she came from and wondered why he hadn’t had the same thing happen to him. He fell from a train and she hadn’t seen him again.
"You’re right, it is something. more than something actually, it’s more than the Bucky I knew could say." Her smile faltered a bit but she pushed through it. “How did you get stuck to a bomb? And when?"
He’d heard this version of events a couple of times. But more than anything Bucky remembered, he could recall the deathly drop into the water. There had been panic rising in his chest; it was markedly different than the usual sort… He’d known he was going to die. And in that, had been his clarity. Being a soldier, Bucky knew that when he went out into the field, there was more than a good chance that he may never return. Or at least he suspected it. Knowing it absolutely as he had aboard that bomb was something he’d only experienced one time since.
"The war was almost over," Bucky explained. "Steve— my Steve— and I were out trying to stop Baron Zemo and I got stuck trying to disarm the bomb. It went off and well… The rest is history."
"Oh." Was all she said at first, processing the information he'd told her. "Wow, I'm so sorry about that. But you survived it, so that's something at least."
She thought about Bucky back where she was form and thought it was strange how her and Steve had almost the exact same past, but yet Bucky's was completely different in where she was now. "You're lucky to have survived that."
"Nice to meet you as well, Miss Barton. I know another Barton." Stpehanie said with a freidnly smile. “Oh I wouldn’t mind stopping off there at all. I take it you like Starbucks?"
"Oh no, please, just call me Michelle. I’m guessing it’s Clint Barton?" She asked, quirking an eyebrow at the woman. “I do, of course. Specially for taking walks in the park."
"Yeah, I know Clint Barton. You related to him?" She was just slightly curious at this woman's relation ship to him. "Sounds, great, shall we go then?"

"Oh, Hello. Sorry I didn’t notice you. What can I do for you?" She asked with a smile She’d gotten back from the gym not too long ago and was stepping out of her apartment building to take a late afternoon walk.
"The question, Stevie, is what can I do for you?" As he pulled out the newspaper from under his arm. “Have you seen the headlines? Seems like something you should take a look at." He gives her a small smile as he hands her the paper, folded so she can read the bold headline; ‘Avengers Save The Day, But At What Cost?’ "It goes on to talk about all the damage and people suffering cause of it. I would recommend reading it, but I figured you’d have to."
Stephanie nodded as she read the headline and listened to him speak. She looked up from the paper and brushed hair out of her face, giving him a small smile. "At least they acknowledge the fact that we saved the city. I've seen some in papers saying we're the only ones to blame for everything that happened."
She lowered the paper and looked back at him. "How are you holding up, Clint?"

“Ma’am,” He nodded politely at the young woman. “Steve Rogers. Can I help you with something?”
“Hello, Mr. Rogers.” Stephanie said with a polite smile and offered him her hand to shake. “What a coincidence, I’m Stephanie, Stephanie Rogers. I’m just passing through here on a walk, haven’t got a clue where I am to be honest. I think it turned out to be more of a wander than a walk really.”
"Nice to meet you." he replied, shaking her hand. He smiled at the mention of her last name, but didn’t think much more about it. Rogers was a fairly common name, wasn’t it? “Well, you came into the right building for directions. This is Stark Tower. Where are you headed? Maybe I can give you directions." Steve often went on walks that got him lost, too, but they helped him figure out the layout of the city.
"Stark tower?" She said in thought and looked around, so this was it. She'd never been to it before, but she'd seen it from a distance. "Great, I was on my way to Battery Park, but knowing me, I'm probably miles off. Do you think you could at least point me in the right direction?"

Loki was on one of his regular coffee runs - an activity that allowed him to escape the monotony of his routine in S.H.I.E.L.D. and his so-called colleagues. As he passed a row of apartment buildings, he spotted a familiar face ahead of him.
"Well well well. If it isn’t our dear Captain America," he said, coming to a slow stop in front of the blonde female patriot.
Stephanie stopped and took a moment to take in the other's features. "Oh, it's you." Stephanie said with her eyebrows raised. She managed a smile and a nod for him. "How are you? You need something?"

"Hello, I’m Stephanie, Stephanie Rogers. I was just about to head out for a walk around Central Park. Care to join me?"
"Why not, Lady Rogers? Tis a beautiful day outside today, even if we are on Midgard."
"Midgard?" She hadn’t heard that used in a while. “Well, I have to agree with you there, the weather is quite nice today. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mister…?"

"Midgard?" She hadn't heard that used in a while. "Well, I have to agree with you there, the weather is quite nice today. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mister...?"
"Hello, Dean." She said with a smile. “Lovely name, Dean. I knew a Dean as a kid a long, long time ago."
She continued to walk with him and kept reminding herself to talk because she sensed if she didn’t, it would be a long and awkward walk in silence. She wondered if his silent and somewhat bashful behavior was normal.
"You new in town Dean? Or just directionally challenged sometimes like me?" She chuckled and looked over to him.
"Uh, both, actually."
She hasn’t said her name. Not that she needs to; a label, title, and renowned appellation well known to the hunter | in a regard most high to say the least. But he’ll keep that to himself, despite the fumbling manner of his behavior, the messied words of his tongue. It’s embarrassing. He knows it — he can’t change it now.
& if it were anyone else that he could lay witness to this dreadful fanboy business, the answer would be easy to this riddle made shy.
Dude, grow a pair already. Jesus.
"An’ you? You always walk strange guys t’ the library?"
"Nice combination, Dean." She said with a chuckle. "Well I wouldn't say you're strange exactly and even if you were, I think I've seen a lot stranger. Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't intoduced myself, how rude of me. I'm Stephanie, Stephanie Rogers, it's a pleasure."
She smiled and offered him her hand to shake in a polite gesture.
