I have so many photos that i want to share but i dont have access to my other phone right now and who has the time? Camps been stressing me out lately, i dont know whether im coming or going again like at tge beginning because they keep switching it up staff wise. Which can be okay but my god some of the staff ive had to work with are useless. But as long as i keep laughing every thing will be okay

art school

Art school is hard.

Really hard.

Going to Wimbledon college of art has been one of my most stressful experiences.

It’s because they don’t tell you what they want from you and expect you to be able to just instantly create.

I know I’ve already said this but it’s hard.

I can’t stress that enough to people who think art is easy.

When it gets to a crit (an assessment)

no-one will be able to understand your work

no-one will like your work

you won’t like your work

you’ll quickly learn to rely on your ability to make stuff up

when you think you haven’t done enough- your tutors will absolutely love your work.

when you think you have done more than enough work- your tutors will hate your work

Then after the most excruciating 4 hours of your short, short life you’ll come out the other end knowing absolutely nothing.

Because that’s what art does.

It makes you believe that you are both powerful and powerless

But you still won’t give it up.

Even though you really want too.
