Hello! I go by Cara (or Tira if you know me from the discord account I barely use haha). Yes, as my user suggests creampuffs and bread in general are my favourite foods. I'm a fandom devotee who is just obsessed with angsty sob stories 😭. My pronouns are she/her. I am Chinese and my time zone is GMT +8.

I've been into all forms of storytelling ever since I was a child and started learning how to draw in late 2021. My biggest personal project right now is my medieval "doomsday" fantasy story (See in “My OCs”)

In Memoriam: A joint tribute to KitsunebiUK from Adrianners and themayflynans

We are very sorry to bring the news that @kitsunebi-uk, known to her friends as Linda, passed away unexpectedly last week. Her family has asked that those wishing to honor Linda’s memory donate to Leicester South Foodbank’s fundraising campaign. The Chuffed platform requests an optional tip instead of subtracting its operating costs as fees from donations, so 100% of funds raised will go directly to the food bank.

We’d like to share some memories of Linda in this post, and invite others who knew her to do so as well.

And the answer to the question of whether Ro ever tried to kill Gortash is... no

Having lost people she cared about to the Urge before, Ro mistakenly believed the same thing would eventually happen to Gortash. Because of that, she spent a long time in a constant state of anticipation, waiting for a threat that was never actually there.

I'll explain my interpretation of how the Dark Urge works another time, but the short version is that the Urge only amplifies thoughts and impulses that already exist within Ro -it isn't the one behind the wheel

So Gortash was never actually in any danger.

It's just a shame Ro didn't know that herself x)

Her name is Solsten!

Her whole character can be summarised by the tag “hurt/no comfort” on ao3 haha. She’s Bhaal’s best girl but only because she knows that without him she is nothing. She kills and does all the gruesome things that a durge does and yes she does enjoy it in the moment but then she’s hit with the weight of what she’s done once the ‘high’ the urge gives her ceases. The Urge is like a guilty pleasure she indulges in really to just feel something from time to time. And being chosen by Bhaal is the only thing that makes her feel loved so she’s fiercely loyal to him.

And so she persists. The people around her are all crazy so it’s not like she has a better frame of reference of reference.

She misses her old life with her adoptive parents she killed, but she can’t even really remember them so it’s like did they even exist in the first place?? She cherishes the little time she has with normal people before Bhaal commads her to kill them, but at the same time she only feels worse when she’s around them. Because at least in Bhaal’s temple she can play the part of a dutiful daughter. Outside his domain she’s just a bloodthirsty monster. And she has to live with that…

I’ll take this chance to yap about Gale for a bit. Honestly at the start I was not really feeling him?? The beard was meh (sorry Gale!) and I was already a sorcerer and didn’t need another full caster in my party. I thought the stargazing was cute but I was way too focused on weeping for Astarion and persuading Shadowheart to be good and dye her hair silver.

Now in my second playthrough, I love this man. I’m playing paladin so he’s in my party almost all the time. He’s genuinely so awkward but yet so endearing at the same time!! I love his chill attitude, his nerdiness, and his slight wizard ego. Honestly I’m thinking of romancing him 👀 but we’ll see.

This just goes to show how much bg3 has to offer. I was not really feeling Lae’Zel and Wyll in my first playthrough either but perhaps that could change if I spent some more time with them. Excited to find out!!!
