Stares at him for a long moment. “Why would you refer to your pencil as a pet?”

She held her ground. Or more so just sat there despite the male inching ever so close in her peripheral vision. That probably had something more to do with her lack of social boundaries than any sort of pride. "But I'm not a cat."

"Of that I’m sure.”

"I’ve got one question though."

"I have a question for you, too… But you can go first. What is it?"

"Do you really think your acting skills are that prime? Or were you certain I was just an idiot?"

"A swimsuit model, of course!" He laughed the girliest laugh he could muster. "I’m Ultion, but people call me U."

"U is a rather ambiguous letter.”

"Isn’t it? That makes it perfect for a girl like me. It’s a good looking letter."

"I've got one question though."

His reaction was different than most, but not necessarily unsettling. She allowed his forehead to rest on her own before speaking softly.

"I can’t tell you."

Hm. He was so sure he would have gotten an answer out of her. Saturn refused to budge from his position.

"That’s unfortunate."

And she had been sure he was going to press on the subject further. Carmen's voice became a bit callous. But she didn't make any particular move either.

“Nonsense. If you would’ve been in my way, I would’ve simply walked around you.”

Siiiigh. It was going to be one of those days. Instead of stepping back like he would have usually, he pressed his forehead against the girl’s.

Virgo had been reaching for a book on the top shelf, just out of her arm span, when the worn out book hit her shoulder. For a moment, she expected an insult to follow, but when her expectations were let down, she turned to face the book tosser.

…A smiling girl. The stranger didn’t look too normal, but didn’t look misplaced, either. V wondered if the other girl knew how to properly greet others.

"Hello, did you need somethin’?"

Tranquil eyes shot up in the direction the other female was reaching before landing back on green. Green. Reminiscent of Scottish nationality. Which did nothing but spark up the folklore hidden in the back of the cultist's brain. Lighting an even giddier excitement in the wells of her stomach.

Nothing could really be said right now. All was well, wasn't it? She didn't need anything, did she? No. Of course not. Sure her book was good as gone. But that hadn't been the first time she'd thrown it in someone's direction.
