Artist thoughts on each piece below the cut:

Madeline and Fang were drawn for people I’m in a discord group with, not much to say about them except that I had to separate each section of fang’s body so I could create a subtle blur between each point of depth. It sucked ass and I learned nothing because I had to do the same thing for Ku’s piece. 

Ku’s piece was just me heavily latching onto the “dragon” aspect of the character and making a little shrine that I think they’d have some connection to. I should’ve left out a plate of food since that’s also a thing people leave at shrines as a form of respect (spirits gotta eat). 

Feather man (I’m not copying and pasting his name again) was me fucking around with cloth and patterns. I’m starting to form a theme of subtly divine/religious iconography but I refuse to acknowledge it so adminiskdjfksljfkw.

Finally the chicken. It was supposed to be a white rooster…. I fucked up and went based off of my rooster references which were mostly red. I’m never redoing it. I don’t even know how I would’ve gone about painting white feathers.

I’m enamored with your piece of Ku and I think I might start leaning into his dragon half too!! I also love the rest of these, it looks like you put a lot of thought into each individual setting and theme and it made some beautiful art ( ；∀；)

I just finished spiritfarer last night and absolutely cried my eyes out.

This draw was actually from a request on instagram like a month ago because someone asked me to draw Astrid. At that point I had been stuck in the middle of spiritfarer for a few months because I was pretty upset over Atul’s arc, not to mention the way it overlapped with Astrid & Giovanni’s situation (in my playthrough). Thanks to this request though, I got up the will to keep playing and finish the game and I’m so glad I did. It was such a roller coaster of emotion that by the last 5 hours of gameplay I was just straight up crying at the smallest things. I think the devs really achieved something special with this game; It really felt like a love letter to deceased loved ones, and it put so much careful consideration into the characters’ lives and struggles. Not only that, but it helped me ask myself how I process grief and to understand that while I would rather be stuck on Denial forever, I need to move on and accept that some people in my life are no longer there.

Hey all! Dunno how alive the OMORI fanbase is on tumblr, but I made a Mr. Plantegg plush for my friend’s birthday! His head is filled with Polyfill and his body is a lightweight hackysack :) he was a little hard to make and is definitely imperfect, but my friend enjoyed him and that’s all I wanted.

I watched Amphibia recently and made a sketchpage because I was full of feelings. The S2 finale had me vibing real hard. REALLY love Anne’s new Woodland God Look

Also???? I’m just so happy to finally see a Thai character in a cartoon. Anne is great and her parents are cool, I love them all. (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)
