This is even better when Raphael already knows that Durge is alive. I refuse to believe that Gortash and Raphael can exist in the same city and completely ignore each other.

In my insane gortash lives and he and the Dark Urge manage to control the netherbrain as planned au after they win gortash does actually send each member of the party a fruit basket and a card detailing every way they managed to push durge away from the party and therefore into his arms. Because he's a petty bitch.

I cannot even express how cool this would have been if we could have taken Gortash to the House of Hope to have some sweet revenge served cold.

I just took this screenshot of my Durge Evan today and I cannot get over how much this picture emphasizes who he really is.

As much as I like a redeemed Durge and sweet, domestic Durgetash bliss, I alway come back to this.

This is who the Dark Urge is.

No need for excessive demonstrations of violence like Orin. No need to make murder an art. He is already the murder. No need to pretend.

Just a short moment and a blade, ending another promising young life as s gift for father as naturally as others breath.

Efficient. Ruthless.

With a cold smile on his lips.

This is the man Gortash adores. The man he recognizes as his equal. The man who plotted with him to end every life on the planet.

This is why I can’t ship Durge with anyone but Gortash. Even the most evil companions, Minthara and Ascended Astarion, are not able to truly get Durge. No companion besides Jaheira (and Minsc) seem to understand how dangerous Durge is, especially when he becomes the chosen of Bhaal.

Just thinking about my Durge Evan, who resisted his Urge during Act 1 and 2, only for it to become too powerful in Act 3 and ultimately succumbed to Bhaal.

Who left Astarion for Gortash without a second thought, because that was where his heart had always stayed.

Who would have betrayed all of his companions in the end, taking control of the netherbrain together with Gortash and rule with him.

Who had to watch Gortash get killed by the netherbrain so soon after reuniting with him.

Who threw Bhaal under the bus in the end and destroyed the brain in an act of revenge for his love instead of controlling it, fully aware what his father would do but simply not caring anymore.

Who would no longer suffer the cruel demands of his father and put himself to the blade at the very end, on the docks, under the setting sun, with his friends by his side who will never know that Gortashs death was the only thing that saved them from the Absolute and Evan.

Who was only free in his final moments.

But he was free.

Since Larian won’t give me my Gortash romance, I have to make my own. ☺️ I am on PS5, so shitty screenshot quality (sorry), don’t have patch 8 yet (so no photo mode) but that won't stop me. 🤭 So with a lot of playing around with mods I kinda figured out how to make a hireling into Gortash. Kinda, there is no human male so I had to settle for the half elf one, but his hair hides the ears pretty well.

Ruling with his favorite Bhaalspawn by his side. (It's kinda hilarious that the throne is so big that Gortashs' feet can't even touch the ground. 😂)

Can we talk about how freaking cool Gortashs gauntlet looks? I colored it in silver for my Durge. The silver twin to Gortashs golden one.

I headcanon he gifted a silver version of it to Durge, because he loves to give them expensive gifts like Stillmaker. And also likes to mark them as his. 😏

It is the only thing that my Durge has left from his old life after waking on the Nautiloid.

My drow Dark Urge Evan…also called the Bane of my existence 🥹

He was Gortash’s paramour before the game, romanced Astarion during Act 1 and 2, but left him in Act 3 to be the new Archdukes nearest and dearest again.

The guard named "Spears" in the outcast headquarter which Kaetus is regulary talking to is actually a collective member...at least he wears their symbol... I wonder if his unprofessional behavior (drinking on duty, wrong protection fee heights) is just a cover and that he is the one who lured Kaetus into the charlatans trap...

Reyes Sniper... Sadly he doesn't say a word during the scene. The only time he is mentioned afterwards is by Kaetus...that he rubbed Sloanes death in his face... I would like to know if he thinks that Reyes is a simply representative of the charlatan or the charlatan himself. Keema said there are only a few selected who know the truth...
