Tmr x Obession au but it’s safe haven Thomas finding the one wish willow and using it to wish that Newt never died- and so is haunted by a version of newt that is heavily infected and essentially sees Thomas as prey: and Thomas has to make the decision to give into his selfish wants to keep newt around vs killing Newt again

Two years after settling down in the Safe Haven, one day they found a WCKD lab coat in a batch of clothing supplies. Thomas found a rather “creative” way of using it, and Newt was willing to help.

Back in late 2025, I made a four-page Newtmas (with background Sonyarriet) fan comic as a gift for @bbadlandd for the TMRSS 2025 event. Many people may have already seen it through @mazerunnersecretsanta

Now I’ve decided to continue the comic and will update it gradually (2-3 pages a time). It would still be the same modern AU with supernatural and psychological horror elements. This post contains the original four pages, as well as an update of two new pages.

Speaking of Squid Game AU, what if Thomas is sent by the creator? Ava Paige is the front woman who rationalises the game by believing that there’s no other way to make the super wealthy donate so “generously” to vital research. She sends the elites as variables to “spice up” the game, as well as to test her potential future successor. (Think about it, Teresa’s Subject A1 can literally translate to Player 001 here)

Of course, Thomas being Thomas, things will never go as planned, especially after him meeting a certain blond player…
