hello, we are the carnation system and we have decided to have a proper pinned post once again
we are a queer, disabled, autistic and adhd system that was born in 2003.
we identify best with the traumagenic label, and believe that we may possibly have dissociative identity disorder- although this is just a researched speculation. but, we genuinely do not remember any part of our life where we were not plural, whether we realized it or not.
we do not believe in DNI's and know that they are ultimately useless, if we do not want to be around you we will just block you ourselves.
we will, however, share some of our stances:
we believe that self diagnosis- especially researched self diagnosis- is valid and is a valuable tool when advocating for oneself. and even when wrong, can be important to people looking for community, advice, or even a step in the right direction.
all people and animals deserve dignity and safety, no this does not mean being welcoming to those who may have hurt you, just treating them as a human and not humiliating them.
accessibility resources should be made easily available to everyone. regardless. if it makes one person's life easier, i do not care if even the most able bodied and minded people ever are using them, as long as they are easily accessible. most scarcity of these resources is a false scarcity or from there not being enough demand for production to be worth it anyways.
