Sometimes I feel like a leopard seal stuck in a group of other smaller cute round little seals. Im unlovable, dangerous, distant, i dont look at you with a blinding joyous look, my eyes are bloodshot and dark, my rare smile haunts those who gaze upon it. I rip other seals apart, my coat is cold, my body is large and ugly. Simply the most unlovable seal, I might as well not even be a seal.

I personally headcanon that coc was a homeless poc youth before becoming part of the carnival when it was new, eventually getting other struggling members around his old community join as well. (The other clowns that are similar to the coc design but with different colors.)

I apologize im not good at explaining it ig I'll go more indepth on it another time, but I've had to deal with homelessness as a youth (except im white and ofc i acknowledge that those situations are alot more difficult for people of color), it felt really fitting for coc especially for what the album represents.
