If there was anything he hated more than seeing you get hurt, it was seeing you being the center of attention of someone else who wasn’t him.
Normally he wouldn’t have minded at all. Heck, Mineta could ogle at voluptuous bosoms or shapely asses, it was his right and his freedom really, Bakugou knew he didn’t have the right to tell him off. They were teenage boys, for fuck’s sake! Of course they would think about perverted things, that’s just how their bodies work.
But when it started to concern you, of all people, he lost his shit. Literally.
He wasn’t even sorry that he wrecked the savvy locker room and caused the sprinklers to go off from his explosions, which in turn drenched everyone in the locker room and they were forced to go back to the dorm to fetch for new clothes seeing they had no decent ones left after all the chaos.
And then you just had to get all worried and stare with him with that worried expression of yours when he went back. Of course you would. You were practically a saint from being able to deal with him.
“Is it true? You blew up the locker room?”
He grunted incomprehensibly and looked away as you tried to met his gaze.

He tirelessly looked at the opposite direction as you tried to get into his line of sight, but he knew his resistance was crumbling. You always had this power to make him want to obey you for some reason, and if he had to be honest, he felt weak for it, but he didn’t mind it. It was a weird feeling. Being with you always made him feel weird.
“One of them talked shit about you,” he found himself mumbling, and praised himself inwardly when you inched closer to brought your ears closer, “….. It irritated me. I should be the only one who could appreciate your–”
“Oh, Katsuki,” you grinned, urging back the giggle that threatened to spill out, “So you defended my honor. That’s very gallant of you. I guess you do make a nice boyfriend after all!”
“Fuck off,” he bristled and stomped away from you, who followed closely and linked your arm with his. Despite the annoyed expression, his arms tightened and brought you closer to him as you walked, side-by-side and oblivious to the glances and whispers directed at the two of you by fellow students.
“Hey, don’t you forget that I could keep up with you on combat! What makes you think I’d let that ogle at me openly? Ochako-chan taught me some self-defense– I think I know whom I can ask to test some of the moves on!” The refreshing smile on your face was a fierce contradiction to the words you sang, and he felt his anger started to subside subsequently as you described the crushing moves in details, sometimes in hyperbolic violent depictions.
