being a student is wild bc why am i an atheist on my 5th hour of studying the bible while listening to monastic chants on a saturday evening
I think one of the most beautiful things about learning an ancient or dead language, is the pure humanity thereof.
You could do or learn something more functional, sure, but you're taking time to understand the essence of a people long left behind in time.
These people, now dead for centuries or even millennia, wrote things down and in doing so, said:
"I was here, remember me"
And here, eras later, we take time to decipher, read, and understand it, to say into the void of their existence:
"We see you, we know you, you are still alive."

18.10.23 🧡🎃🍂 gloomy challenge
not to be dramatic or anything but what could be better than renting a house in denmark together with your friends and enjoying the last few days before the semester begins ☁ᵕ̈
we collected so many apples, it should be enough for at least 15 apple crumbles ✌🏼
guys the 100 days of productivity is unattainable. it’s absolutely absurd and it’s not a feasible goal at all. you will fuck up!! 100 days of perfection isn’t anything to strive for!! you need to rest!!!
currently thinking about the evolution of studyblr from notebooks, pens, handwritten notes —> to desk setups, monitors, keyboards :0
11/100 days of productivity 🐣 9/19/23
day 2 of class, and i'm already struggling 😭 i felt distracted pretty much this whole day, so i didn't finish the last few problems on my homework. i'm thinking of going to tutoring tomorrow though, so i can learn how to solve some of the more difficult problems.

Day 8/100 days of productivity
(I'm gonna try and catch up with the rest of these posts today but I only missed a few day's posts so it shouldn't take long. Hopefully I will be back on track soon)
• started Beowulf! I've been wanting to read this forever so I'm super glad it got assigned for class
• did some sketches for my scenic design project
• went on a little mental health walk on campus in between classes
📚- The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides (rereading this for like..the 7th time)
🎧- Anne Aviary by Joan of Arc (I just started listening to this band but I love this song rn)
Better day today than yesterday! Busy as always, but I’m finally working out the kinks in my schedule and getting into a groove. Looking forward to things (hopefully) becoming more structured as the time passes.

🔆 1/100 days of productivity
I've had so much on my plate for so many months with moving, getting engaged, and starting a new job. But now, I have some free time on my hands, and I want to be able to use it to improve myself and learn some new skills that I've been putting off learning for quite a while.
I decided that today was the day to start 100 days of productivity.
My end goals:
prepare for my A+ IT Certification exam
improve at my job
continue learning Hindi
take time to read and write more
exercise more
Today:
I researched some good courses to start preparing for my exam
I had very few mistakes at my job
I went on a walk at lunch
I reached my 365-day streak milestone on Duolingo!
I'm excited to use this challenge as a way to further motivate myself!
and another week passes by. 09.19.2023//day 17-23
I’ve been busy once again, and i been trying to make this a habit but im usually out and about.
What do you use as a habit tracker btw? i am looking around right now lol.
day 17: test day! i was taking it easy that day. i made food for the week that day.
day 18: I started to study a bit. did my assignment. The wifi cut out on the last hour before submission😭 so i used my hotspot
day 19: I was studying for the test the next day, it was hard bc i didnt want to focus. but something was done at least.
day 20: took my other test! i did pretty good on it :D I redid my artist carrd for commissions soon.
day 21: i cleaned my apartment a bit!
day 22: hung out with the boyfriend :3 he brought me some matcha. we went out to eat this new ramen place in town (it also had sushi) and got boba. :3
day 23 (today!):
I trudged thru my CITI certification (yes im still working on it. this is so boring like 😭 it’s also a loooot of modules in there.
this week looks less hectic, which means I will be posting more often instead of giving weeklies :3 and some blog housekeeping sometime?
trying to get used to the mobile posting. The formatting might a bit wack.
Today was fun, but definitely challenging. I did not get enough sleep last night, and I had some issues teaching today. I can answer questions fine and all my students get the material, but introducing difficult concepts to them for the first time in a way they understand is hard. I’m trying to learn how to introduce a topic and build their understanding of it instead of dumping information on them and having it “click” later. I’ll do better tomorrow.
