"I went to New Orleans and all I got were amazing abs." --said no one ever ..... Until now! Lots of #choices were made last week. And the choices are still here to be made now that I'm home. Today's choices so far: 1) sleep in; 2) skip workout since I traveled yesterday and usually take the next day off to recoup ✳️✳️✳️✳️✳️choices made: 1) "slept in" meaning Asher woke up at 5:30, so Mommy did too; 2) jimmy asked me to meet him at the car dealership this morning to take his car for an oil change - timing is right when I would do my workout. So I downed a cup of coffee and a scoop of E&E and knocked out Plyo Fix Extreme!!! Time for a quick shake and then to meet @thecoachjimmy ✅✅✅✅what good choices will you make today??? Starting to teach Asher the value of money - he has responsibilities that must be done each day to be part of the family (like picking up toys) and then he has jobs where he can earn money. @thecoachjimmy asked him what he was working so hard to earn money for - without missing a beat he replied "to help people"!!! My heart just melted!!!!! I want him to see how earning money through hard work adds up, so I'm giving him these clear containers to put his $ in so he can watch it grow!!! Sometimes I don't get ready to make myself feel good, sometimes I get ready for him...I may not feel like it, but he deserves to have a woman he's proud to call his wife - that he's proud to go out in public with!! You can't put a price on creating memories with your family. I wasn't on social media much during our trip - I kept my phone in my bag as much as possible during this trip, choosing to take in moments like these! We had lots of new experiences during this vacation!! I am truly thankful for this life of blessings that I have been given. In working on being a better #wife or #mommy I can't pray for God to change others. I first need to pray for God to change ME. I submit and sit still listening for your wisdom and guidance. To some, praying for God to change you might be a scary thing. We get wrapped up in our current state of being, in our habits and routines. But I am excited. God's plans for me far surpass anything I could dream of for myself, so why wouldn't I be excited about change and growth and learning?!?!

God speaks to me so clearly when I am still and quiet! I asked him to show me my way - how to be better, how to be more patient, what my role and my voice is and this is what He gave me. This is a first - dropped off a very tearful Asher at school this morning. Not sure what's up, but it broke my heart - 💔💔💔💔💔 MOMS - what do you do when your kids say they don't want to go to school???? Need advice please!! This is NOT like him at all - usually he runs in and is so excited. Guess it's a good thing I have a dentist appt and won't be working this morning - not sure that I'd be able to concentrate

I was sitting at the kitchen table working, minding my own business when THIS happened...tons of broken ornaments from when I was a baby. Thankful that Asher was napping and no one got hurt!!

This boy loves his giant tree that he picked out all himself - I love watching him stare at it!!! Now if only I could stop getting him to touch the breakables!!!
