This was my ALL TIME FAVOURITE, growing up. I forced everyone to watch it. If they didn't, or looked away, I physichally forced my parents' head back towards the tv. Because of Krteček, I still adore wearing jean overalls. And the city episode disturbed me so heavily it still sits with me at 20.

Tips for hot people summer: dismantle systems of oppression.
Step 1: believe it. Don't do things for only to be able to say you did them, or just for social media (though, spreading awareness is very useful!), do it because you want to truly make the world a better place for everyone in it. Make the difference, and want to make the difference.
Step 2: be a conscious consumer. I mean both actual, physichal consumerism and what content you watch and take in every single day online. Research the brands you buy. Try to find ethical and local alternatives (the two sometimes don't go hand in hand, look out for it.), and support local people. Amazing chance to get to know your community, also. Farmer's markets are a great thing. Select what content you consume. Ideally, you should seek content that only strengthens your values and gives more ideas. Ideas on being more sustainable, on building a community, etc.
Step 3: organize, make a community. Or search for one. Look at what your local library offers. Clubs, workshops, social programs? Give it a go, and seek connection. (Obviously this requires patience and longer time). Make friends, see what real-life people are like, and connect with them. Social media often fails to present society wrong. The ignorant people are the loudest and get most attention online. This makes you think the world is full of ignorant arses, but really, if you go outside (while there will still be ignorant people), most people have real humanity in them. We are all so alike. Go to protests that you agree with the values and cause it represents. Use your voice for those who can't use their own, or if they do it's not heard. Educate your friends and start organising from under. Important note is not to work with the system, work against it. We're organising from the inside but not along the walls built around us. We're in the proccess of growing out of the straightjacket, not working within the straightjacket forever.
Step 4: have a plan and make it real. Oh, yeah. Seems terrifying, I know, but hear me out. Let me give you my own example. I see organizations failing to bring action and make change around me. So I'm taking the matter into my own hands and I'm organizing a clothing swap at my university in September. Anyone will be welcome, and it goes like this: if someone brings clothes, awesome. If someone doesn't, they still get to take any clothing they like. No limits and no discrimination. Anyone can parttake. The event will be advertised on university platforms and on campus by fliers and posters. After the event finishes and there are clothes left that no one wanted (but are in good condition), I will donate the clothes to an organization who distributes these clothes to people who need it.
Step 5: read, read, read! Literacy is the key. People who read have better critical thinking skills and think more independently. If you do all that, you're less likely to fall for propaganda (to which, nobody is immune by the way). You will recognise patterns. Read the banned books, if you have those in your country. They're banned for a reason, because if people read those and awakened, recognised patterns and understood what was going on, those people reading it would get rightfully furious at the system. They don't want that, but we want that. Be angry, be fucking angry. We are not angry enough.
Step 6: take action. It starts with something as little as signing a petition for an organization working for human rights. So sign it. And actually use the tote bags you own for taking produce home. And stop renting movies and music, either pirate it or own it. Take the public transport instead of driving. Buy clothes second-hand and make sure you buy organic material clothes. Or swap clothes, like I mentioned before. Volunteer. Reuse. Repurpose. Raise awareness. Protest. Make change. Make friends. Educate. Organize. Help others. Find your village, make your village. Learn life skills. Learn to fix your belongings and use them as long as possible to avoid buying new ones. Be mindful with where your money goes and what they do with it. Be considerate. Take it seriously. Include everyone and help everyone. Be understanding and develop sensitivity for situations. Ask for guidance, and be the next to guide.

I bought a stainless steel waterbottle for 16 euros, haven't bought any plastic water bottles since.
I repair my clothes that I already own and if I want new ones I thrift or go to clothing swap events or buy it off vinted.
I sell the stuff I don't want anymore on vinted, not throw it away.
You don't need to buy cutlery for traveling, just wrap the one you have at home in a napkin.
Take the bus, the train, any public transport instead of driving.
Buy metal straws once and carry them around.
Buy clothes made of natural materials, even if it costs more, it'll be good for even longer. Then repair.
Reuse jars to carry around for coffee (you can actually give that to the barista and they'll make it in it for you instead of a plastic cup. Or at least goes like this where I live).
Organize!!!! Join a community or a movement if you can if they align mostly with your values. If not this, organize your own community. Start with something that benefits everyone, and take accessibility to mind.
Research where you eat. If the place is a branch of a big corporation, choose a local place.
Avoid eating meat or at least reduce your meat intake.
I think this is obvious on my blog, but don't use AI. None of it. Turn it off where you can.
Go to your public library!!!! Even more chances to find community and get informed. (Sincerely, a library science student.)
Rewear outfits!!! Thought this was basic knowledge but dude the amount of people I see crashing out over wearing the same outfit is concerning.

Stay informed and inform your friends. YOU can make change, and if they see you make change, they will too.
Use your tech until they can't be used anymore, don't buy new ones for the fun of it.
