5 day update! Lost a stitch or two somewhere in the sauce but I’ll increase tomorrow, he’s just gonna be a little cinched in January!

It was up in the 50s today!! Looking like that for the rest of the week too

I miss when it used to snow all December and January here ╥﹏╥

A bit more rambling below!

for the record, since I’m using this as a stash-buster project, all of the yarns are different sizes so I’m doubling up on them! Some of them are double knit I got at a yarn store in Glasgow while visiting family for a TMA blanket i never finished, others are worsted weight, some are even smaller than DK somehow and I didn’t notice, so it’s my solution to double up on them so they’re around the same size!

The snake is supposed to be 15 sc and a slip stitch around but right now he’s only 14, including the slip stitch, so I’m planning on fixing that tomorrow!

I’ve also been considering doing a second temperature project based on my pain levels throughout the year, maybe with two colors and stitches rather than 11 different colors tho haha. I’ve got some chronic lifelong back and hip problems that are currently being aggravated by work and weather which is the main reason I’m considering it but yk, we’ll see! Last time I started one I frogged the whole thing & gave up lol, so we’ll see how that goes (which, knowing myself, is likely nowhere ♪~ ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ)

I doubt we’ll set a new record low, but with the way the climate has been changing around here I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a new record high this summer. We got damn near close with a wet blub heatwave last year!

i call this critter "eraser head baby"! He's sort of turned into a cat toy, they kick him around, its kinda funny to watch!
