I guess it’s about time for a pinned post to make clear where I stand on all kinds of divisive issues, but first, a little about me for those who have only just found my blog:

I’m a cis straight mixed race male, fat, bearded, bespectacled, no tattoos (but I think it’s cool when others have them, they’re just not for me), atheist, Canadian, dominant (though it took me until my late twenties to fully realize that and embrace it; ‘alpha’ culture made the idea repugnant until I found out there were other better ways to be dominant), politically left-leaning, cat/dog/general animal enthusiast working as a legal professional.

Is this a porn blog? Yes and no. That’s certainly the origins of the blog - my former blog certainly was, but that died years ago. Now, my blog’s more of a mixed bag - there’s still lots and lots of NSFW, but also musings on a lot of other topics that show a bit more of my personal philosophies.

Now, a quick summary of where I stand on a lot of ‘hot button’ issues:

- LGBTQIA+ friendly and inclusive

- Pro-choice

- Trans rights are human rights

- Black Lives Matter

- Aboriginal Lives Matter

- Intersectional feminist ally

- Fat-inclusive (I damn well better be considering I *am* fat)

- Making conscious effort to not contribute to ableism

- Deeply distrustful of organized religion. Sorry, but the track record is pretty terrible for all of them. I am inherently opposed to any organization that actively stifles and stigmatizes inquisitiveness

- Not a vegetarian/vegan but I support those who are

- Child-free and planning on staying that way - if we get to know each other, feel free to ask why, there’s quite a lot of reasons for the decision (if you have kids, that’s awesome! I’m just personally not looking to bring any more into the world.)

With all that being said, I reserve the right to block you if I catch any whiff of the following:

- Fascism/Nazism, homophobia, racism (this includes race play and race fetishizing), actual misogyny, transphobia (I’m including ‘sissy’ content in here), TERF philosophy, paedophilia, bestiality, fatphobia/feederism/thinspo, and generally any targeted hatred against historically/systemically disadvantaged groups by a privileged/ruling demographic

- If I’m not satisfied that you are of a legal age to be viewing NSFW content (in other words, put your age in your bio)

- If your blog is blank and/or I suspect that you are a bot

- Further to the fatphobia thing - if you body shame in any way (yes, this includes dick size) this may earn you a block. At the very least, I don’t want you interacting with me.

Collins is gone.

Namaygoosisagagun First Nation/Collins has burned to the ground. The entire community is nothing but ashes after being quickly consumed by wildfires. They did not have any support from emergency services, and no one offered aid. The community saved themselves by escaping into boats because no one came.

Mishkeegogamang and Cat Lake have lost power. Families are ending up in shelters with nothing. Armstrong, Lac La Croix, Whitesand, Gull Bay, Lac des Mille Lacs are currently in the fires path and all members are being evacuated.

All this loss, all this devastation, and it was entirely preventable.

After steadily underfunding wildland firefighting and purposefully excluding Indigenous wildland firefighters and Indigenous wildfire organizations from wildfire operations, firefighter training, decisionmaking, and resource exchanges, in 2025, Doug Ford slashed the forest firefighting budget.

It's hard to ignore his decision to cut funding and leave us out of adequate fire training (even though we've lived with forest fires for thousands of years—far longer than settlers have been in Canada—and made sure fires like the ones we're all seeing today were prevented through kinisitotēn) when, despite making up less than 5% of the population, we account for 42% percent of all wildfire evacuations in Canada.

And when we are successfully evacuated, we face discrimination and racism—like Kashechewan—because it's always been easier to blame us than it is to blame the true culprit: denialism, corportate greed, and colonization.

The people of Collins and every other impacted community deserve better.

Right now, the AFN is currently accepting donations to help Collins First Nation. If you're able to, please consider donating.

ONWA (Ontario Native Women's Association) is another great place to donate to. They have outreach vans going to motels and inns and offering food, water, resources, and cultural support to those impacted by the wildfires.

Other places to consider donating to are Mikinakoos Emergency Fund, Red Cross, True North Aid, Indigenous Climate Action. You can also send donations directly to Whitesand First Nation via e-transfer ([email protected]) and they request that you add your full name in the e-transfer comment section to receive a tax receipt.

*Before sending money, verify that the appeal appears on an official First Nation, Tribal Council or registered charity channel.

i hate diet culture so much. i hate how everyone steamrolls over my "i don't like talking about dieting." i hate seeing vibrant, beautiful personalities turn into someone who only talks about their weight loss. i hate when people brag abt how little they've eaten. i hate being expected to fawn over ppl for being on a crash diet. i hate when women go "hahah, i just don't really eat!" i hate when ppl use coffee or cigarettes to suppress their appetite and think that's healthy. i hate when i see the pain in my friend's eyes because someone around them lost weight and they feel Too Fat by comparison. i hate when people assume I'm unhealthy because im fat. i hate that this is something i've had to deal with since i was 7. i hate when fat people, stranded in a culture that villifies every aspect of their being, are asked to clap and cheer for thinness.

Without fail, every time a woman is talking about how she does not want to have children and never wants to be pregnant and how medical professionals, romantic interests and family members keep trying to bulldoze her decision and keep expecting her to change her mind because motherhood is something that is expected of all women and it is abhorrent to think a woman could not desire it, a random mother spawns in the comments to be like “Well, actually, you never know! I didn’t want children and then I got pregnant and I realized I love being a mama and I have five little babies now! Could happen to you! 🥰”

Sister, keep that to yourself or make your own goddamn post, you are ignoring that woman’s central concern and belittling her, you don’t even think you’re doing it. Formerly childfree women who ended up having children and loving it are like detransitioners in the sense that there is nothing inherently wrong with changing your mind about having children or realizing you were mistaken about your gender identity but immediately weaponizing your indecision to tell people that the barriers to healthcare and the violations of their bodily autonomy and the way society ignores that person’s wishes is actually okay because you were wrong. Some people do know themselves.

It might be a little late for me to be saying this, but for all of you who watched Sinners, thought "Wow, this soundtrack is really great!" and potentially even had your awakening to the blues thanks to the movie - in addition to appreciating the tremendous talent of Miles Caton and living legend Buddy Guy, I am *begging* you to also check out the music of another musician who made an appearance in the film. If you haven't heard of Christone "Kingfish" Ingram before, I cannot recommend his music enough. I genuinely believe he is one of the greatest guitar talents of the last century and I can't wait to see how extensive his music library becomes over time.
