Hello! I'm just a girl who loves to spread creativity and kindness. My favorite fandoms are Descendants, Purple Hearts, Adventures in Babysitting, Songbird, The Life List, My Oxford Year, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, and Carry-On. Fanfic writer for many of Sofia Carson’s characters while being a Lilsimsie (Kayla Sims) fan at heart. I like to keep things kind and positive. Thank you for checking out my account. Happy Sofia Day

This year, through balancing final projects, tests, and friendships, I will admit that Sofia’s birthday kinda ended up sneaking up on me this year. I unfortunately wasn’t able to get a chapter edited in time (as much as I desperately wanted to), so instead I decided to take some time to reflect on my experience in this community.

After finding Descendants in early 2020 (before COVID, actually), I would have never imagined who I would become just six years later. From the beginning, I knew something was different about the story of Evie and the VKs, but I didn’t expect how much they would impact me.

Upon discovering Sofia’s other characters, I found myself engrossed by so many unique traits, interests, stories, and more that I loved and could relate to. Each one of them means so much to me in their own ways, cherishing each and every one of their quirks and what makes them, them. While tangling my own twists on them, creating an entirely new version to make my own.

Being able to bring my own versions of her characters to life has been an integral part of my routine for years now, but I couldn’t have done it without the people in this community who I have met and shared the love of these characters.

So as much as I want to take the time to honor the woman who has given us the gift of every single one of her characters, I also want to honor those who continue to amplify, celebrate, and share their stories, making them a part of themselves. 

There wouldn’t be a community without the content creators who love their stories with all their hearts. They are the ones who keep these characters and stories going and help share them with the world.

So as much as today is celebrating Sofia, I also want to take the time to thank those who I have found in this community. I couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of them and how they’ve helped and encouraged me. You are another vital puzzle piece in this community of love, support, and creativity.

April struggles with missing her home while not knowing what to make of the people who have entered her life. April dreams of being a dancer on Broadway, but she's quickly realizing there's a whole world of secrets she's only beginning to discover.

Ava meets people, though, some that bring adversity, while others break down those sky-high walls, maybe some of both. Only, it's up to Ava on who she can really trust.
