Lalo is unique. He’s not like the other Salamancas that Ignacio has dealt with, no. He’s not wired like Tuco was and still is in prison, where he might end up staying if he carries on shivving guys for nothing; he’s not intimidating in the same way as Hector was back when he had the capacity to intimidate.
Lalo lures you in and makes you his friend, which is far more dangerous. He hides his intentions behind a friendly smile and an endlessly deep gaze that distracts you from the fact that he’s the cat and you are the mouse.
