By the look on his face, Georgie knew she was in for a treat with his response and waited anxiously as to what he would come up with for her. “Oh! My bad, I wasn’t really trying to specify genders, I just used bad guy as in like, villains? You know? The bad guy of a story and such….I am sure if it was a girl or simply woman their motives would be a lot more vicious and evil than the ones I mentioned about.”

Carter chuckled slightly at her response. It was funny how she assumed the woman would be a lot more evil; something he was going to mention for Lydia later. “I do see your point” he replied not wanting to seem like he totally bashed on her theory. Because he truly had not, his wonder about the gender had just been a general thing that popped into his head as she spoke. “I do like this theory though”

“You know….” Georgie started as she took a deep breath crossing her hands over the table as she organized her thoughts. “Some would normally say that all the bad guys are bad just for that simple and sake motive of being bad, right? Wrong. If you take in consideration all of their backstory and where they come from you might see that it is not really all that simple.” She sighed, fixing her glasses as she reached for her shake, taking a small sip of it. “For example, the other day I was watching the Mummy movies, just the first and second one – the third we do not mention because it was a disgrace to the franchise – and I analyzed the whole thing, until the demise of our great villain Imhotep, that everything he did, all the motives he had to live that eternal life and what not, was out of love. And we see a clear indication of his heart breaking after they kill the Scorpion King and Anck Su Namun is incapable of throwing everything away to simply be there and save him like Evy did to Rick. From the moment he died, to the moment he tried to bring her back, was so they could be forever united in eternal life, and then, when she showed to him that her love wasn’t as strong as his, he simply gave up and stopped fighting.” She finished her thought, placing her drink down in the table. “I think all the bad guys have a heart and in the end, the reason that lead to all of their shenanigans was that heart to begin with, even if might be some pretty twisted reasons at first, but they do sound right to them.”

Carter wasn’t a simple person, he was far from it. However, he was not going to lie and say he managed to follow everything the brunette spoke of. He did manage to catch on to her strong dislike for the third movie in the franchise; and how she seemed to have spent a majority of a day watching two movies that apparently had given her more insight on men. And lastly, for some reason this was something she seemed to feel strongly about. So the tall man took a sip of his own hot coffee cup as he tried to decided how to best phrase his answers. With a small chuckle he put his cup down as he replied “Well...” Carter started, a smile across his handsome face. “I won’t say I’m an expert in this – field” it was sort of amusing to him. “however, why are you saying this applies only to males, and not females?”

The Lancaster’s has always had money, and they swam in perks and goods. Seeing as Carter happened to be the first born, and also the only son his parents got; he was from a very early age put on a pedestal, one that nobody could kick him down from. With his golden locks and blue eyes, he got everything he asked for and more. His mother and father loved him dearly and always told him he was the perfect boy.

High school didn’t change this, because as he grew to a teenage boy he became somewhat of a show-off due to the fact his mother always told him to; always said he was the best and never expected anything less than the very best. So Carter did everything he was told to, and more to please his mother. He joined the debate team, the lacrosse team, swimming, and track. Even took music lessons to learn both the violin and the piano.

His mother and father always knew what they wanted him to become, the very next best thing; unless you were God, in their opinion. A doctor, someone who saved lives and had control over the situation. Lucky for him, this wasn’t a path he would shy away from. Where his sister Margot often tried her best to shy away from their requests and wishes, Carter often saw eye-to-eye and did them.

TW: death. Since he is the oldest, and only has two younger sisters he felt like when their mother and father got shot he needed to step up; to be the one to make sure their family was okay. There is nothing Carter won’t do for his sisters, no matter what they ask. Even though all the siblings are adult now, their parents left Carter in charge of the money; something their father called ‘the right as a man’ –
