TAG GAME !

Welcome to my first tag game. Yay. This is probably no original idea at all, but I haven’t seen it yet, so I ain’t copying anyone on purpose. (If someone already did this before me, I‘m sorry!!)

I got this idea when making my introduction post for my dr relationship. The idea is pretty simple… do y‘all know these relationship dynamic thingies with animals? Like black cat, orange cat, golden retriever, and so on…

The whole thing is to just get a pic of your face claim (or another representative pic if you‘re like me and don’t have a face claim lol) + a pic of your s/o, and pics of animals that represent you guys.

She is a good listener and is very gentle, kind and just so full of love. In some cultures, deer are seen as guides, and wisdom too. In Greek mythology, the goddess Artemis is often associated by deer.

Harp seals, especially babies, are just so precious and resilient, and they adapt well too. They are very vulnerable to climate change and hunting (similar to how chaotic my this DR is and how much I'm always involved in something😭).

Shifting. The becoming of oneself.

This post is for people who feel that they have a complicated relationship with themselves with regard to shifting or in general. I would like to share my perspective.

When people say it is a PERSONAL JOURNEY, they are so right . I always feel foreign to myself [ 12th house sun ] , i can't express how much . What a blessing it is to crawl back to myself , on shards of the broken pieces of that which couldn't manage to cage my becoming.Shifting is very dear to me , very. I know to you all as well .

I have searched for what i really want from not only life but existence. What does it mean to me . What does my existence mean to me on this grand scale ? Then i sat and felt the fear choke me as i confessed to myself that i wanted to be untamed. Untamed and untethered to an identity. Idk if that to you is the same thing as freedom but to me it isn't.

I consider myself to be someone with open eyes, but all along, it felt like something was wrong . I was seeing shifting through eyes forced open with the chains of this reality and several personas , that even with infinite possibilities, i still couldn't breathe. Now i get it. It's that tower moment again .

I WANT TO BE UNTAMED. There i said it. . I wish i could make you see through my eyes this realisation that i have come to because i feel like im not being articulate enough but please listen to yourself. Please take the time . What you want will always be changing . And you might stray away from home and what you thought you were even after growth. And thats ok . This shifting thing has very many branches .

I will let myself loose in the multiverse , i am a wild animal . no script , with little to no plan , i trust myself this time . I feel so lost and yet so happy.

Thoughts on a train

I think given freedom , people really look inward to know what it means to be themselves. WHAT DO I WANT( a very loaded question).

And i see this with how shifters love ,create ,talk about their drs and all the ways each one of us is living these same but different lives . Its beautiful , the scrips , the edits , the memes , possible immortality. And it makes me happy seeing how we have found ourselves and comfort in freedom. And we should give ourselves grace tbh . Its not just a story. It's our way of being . It's our future . I feel connected to my "other selves" so intimately , not just the lives im living but the perspectives. I am free . Life really got interesting lol . I feel like a different person. I am a different person 🌸 I actually live life now rather than it happening to me .

　　the anti-method (a.k.a., you were never here to begin with)　

this isn't a method. not really. there's nothing to follow. no list, no prep, no steps to optimise. it's just something you notice.

not a tool. not a hack. just the moment you stop assuming you're locked out. people talk about shifting like it's a distance. a place. a before and after. but it's not a trip, it's not a climb. it's not even new. it's memory. recognition. you don't get in, you realise you never left.

　　this is how i do it.

i , lie down. sit still. you don't have to clear your mind. you don't have to feel good. just stop trying to control it. you're not pretending. you're not visualising. you're not even "doing" anything. you’re just letting the thought in.

ii , ask yourself. what if i already shifted and just forgot? not "am i in my dr?" not "how do i get there?" just. what if i already did it. what if it already happened, and i've been too distracted to notice.

iii , your brain might flinch. it'll try to anchor you. it'll pull out facts. try to prove this is "reality." fine. let it. that's what it does. but you don't argue. you don't check. you just keep going :

　i already shifted. i just forgot. 　　i’ve been there this whole time.

don't chant. don't perform. just think it. a fact you forgot to write down. something you knew once and are just now remembering.

iv , the mind doesn't know how to disprove it. it wants to be right, but it can't back it up. that's your opening. when it spirals, let it. you're not resisting, you're just not entertaining the lie anymore.

v , it clicks. not because you did anything right. not because you hit a milestone. but because the assumption gave out. and what's left is the truth.

vi , that's it. you're there. no shift sound, no trumpet, no flash of insight. you just.....… remember. and this time, it sticks.

the anti-method works for getting into the void as well, as it bypasses the idea of getting there entirely.

the void is not a state you summon. it's not a level you unlock. it isn't something you build toward, or earn, or cross into. it isn't a destination at all.

the void is what's left when everything else lets go. it is what's underneath when the effort stops. not as in giving up, not collapse - but the clean simplicity of just… being. no storyline, no role, no feedback loop. only you. the anti-method works because it doesn't treat the void like something distant. it doesn't ask you to get anywhere. it doesn't suggest movement. it asks a different question entirely:

　what if you're already there?

this isn't a metaphor. it's a pattern interrupt. the method doesn't rely on you relaxing or visualising or getting into a meditative state. it doesn't ask you to fix anything. it starts and ends with doubt, not the kind that scares you, but the kind that opens something. the kind that pauses the world for just long enough to slip through it. ask:

　what if this is the void? 　　　how do i know it isn't? 　　　　　what if i just forgot?

and the brain, which is used to being in charge, doesn't know what to do with that. it searches for evidence. it scrambles to re-establish "reality." it reaches for context - sensations, memories, proof. but none of those can actually confirm anything. they just distract.

when the brain fails to reassert control, something shifts. it doesn't feel grand or strange. it feels simple. small. warm. you don't fall into the void. you stop resisting it.

it was always there, underneath every thought. your mind just layered stories on top. beliefs. structures. expectations. the anti-method isn't about tearing those down. it just stops feeding them.

the void isn't sterile. it isn't cold. it's generous. it gives you back to yourself. it's what remains when there's nothing to be.

and what happens in that space is up to you. you can sit in it, rest in it, let it hold you. you can stay for a moment or a while. there's no clock. no judgement. no requirement to do anything with it.

some people will try to describe the void in grand terms, transcendence, enlightenment, ego death. but the truth is quieter. it doesn't announce itself. it doesn't try to impress you. it's the space behind everything that ever made you feel overwhelmed. and when you recognise it, it feels like remembering something you never meant to forget.

this method works because it doesn't try to get you out of anything. it gently questions the idea that you were stuck in the first place.

and it doesn't force you to believe anything. it just lets you wonder. the void is not complicated. it doesn't need instructions. but sometimes a method like this can help you pause long enough to notice what's already true.

Sometimes im hopeless . I miss those familiar voices, rooms that i know every inch of , how the evening breeze feels , the stray cats, the swings at the park . It's difficult to wake up to the same ceiling. Like a bird that recognises it's in a cage , the door is open, but i dont know how to fly . I forgot. It's silly, isn't it? But im teaching myself, im hopeful .And if not for anything, the thought of freedom will keep me warm . 🤎

yes, i have shifted, more than ten times, if you’re the sort who counts miracles like matchsticks or notches on a headboard. i am not. i do not tally my miracles like debts to be repaid. they arrive not as triumphs, but as returns. familiar. like a song i almost forgot i knew until i was humming it again, accidentally, under the breath of my dreaming.

i do not care if you believe me. i say that without spite. belief was never a prerequisite for truth. you do not have to clap for the moon to rise, nor bow to the ocean to be pulled under. reality does not ask for applause. it simply is.

i shifted after four years. four years of thinking maybe i was broken in some exquisite, cosmic way, cracked just wide enough to want, never wide enough to have. four years of collecting every method like seashells, pressing each one to my ear and listening for home. sometimes i heard static. sometimes i heard blood. sometimes i heard nothing at all.

there were nights i didn't think i'd live to see morning. i say that with the softest voice possible, not for pity, but because it's true. i don't mean metaphorical dark nights of the soul, i mean the real ones. the kind where your body's still, but your mind is clawing at the walls, begging for a window. the kind where shifting wasn't some spiritual hobby or escapist whim, but a lifeline. a rope thrown into the pit.

i shifted because i remembered.

and i kept remembering. even when it felt stupid. even when it hurt. even when the forum girls sighed and the scripting girls cried and the cynics said i was lost in a fantasy. maybe i was. but so is everyone. some people just settle for worse ones.

this is what i know: you can get there too. you are not cursed. you are not exempt. the moment you stop performing belief and start inhabiting it, like a house, like a skin, like an inheritance, you will see.

it is not far. it is next. it is with. it is just beyond the veil of doubt, waiting to be spoken aloud like a name that's always been yours.

you do not have to be special. you do not have to be chosen. you do not need a voice in the sky or a star to fall at your feet. you only need to decide. quietly. daily. like it's brushing your teeth. like it's feeding the dog. like it's the most ordinary miracle in the world.

let it be that simple. let it be that unremarkable. you were never meant to earn it. only to remember it. only to open your hands and realise they've been holding the key the whole time.

assume. not with fear, but with fondness. not with hunger, but with homecoming.

and if you don't believe yet, pretend. not out of desperation, but out of reverence. act like you are there not because it will trick the world, but because it will tune you to it. reality doesn't respond to panic. it responds to presence.

so say the toothbrush is yours. say the air smells different. say the cereal tastes sweeter. say the light is warmer. say your name with a little more certainty. you don't need proof. you are the proof.

and do not ask yourself how again. ask when. ask what now. ask am i ready to walk through the door i've been holding shut with both hands all this time?

What's the worst that could happen if you treated yourself Iike you were the love of your life? What's the worst that could happen if you told yourself you already have all of your desires now? What is the worst thing that could possibly happen if you fully indulged in your "delusions" and told the 3d to fuck itself?

What's the worst that could happen?

I'll tell you about the best case scenario though:

You could go to sleep tonight and wake up in your dr.

You could walk up to a mirror and see your dream face staring back at you.

You could get a text from your sp confessing their undying love for you.

You could log into your bank account and see 6, 7, 8??? Figures.

You could change the world as we know it.

Give yourself a fighting chance. Aren't the voices telling you you're crazy and it'll never work enough? Do you really have to add your own to thee cacophony?

All I'm asking is that you believe in yourself a tiny bit. That's all.

like, no, i don’t want to skim the surface, i want to plunge.

i want history, but not in the "oh, i saw marie antoinette at versailles" way. i want to stand in the french court and know, with visceral certainty, that the air reeks of sweat and powdered wigs and impending doom.

i want love, but not the diet coke variety. i want it unfiltered, unpasteurised, the kind that ruins lives and gets greek tragedies written about it.

i don’t want to dabble in magic like it’s a weekend hobby, i want to be crowned in a kingdom that runs on blood oaths and prophecy. i want to ride a dragon. i want to be a disney princess. i want to be a hollywood star with 5 oscars. i want to be a cartoon character. i want to be spiderman. i want to see hogwarts. i want EVERYTHING.

casual shifting is like ordering a steak well done. it’s like going to rome and eating at mcdonald’s. it’s like watching succession and thinking logan roy just needed therapy. no, i want the whole thing. i want to be scorched by it.
