I love you.
I love spending time with you. I love talking to you. I love laughing together.
I need you.
I need you to like me. I need you to help me. I need you to leave me alone
I hate
Not you, never you, but the way I feel around you. I hate feeling stupid. I hate feeling drained. I hate feeling out of place.
I beg you.
I beg you to leave the other drivers alone, they're just living their lives. I beg you to notice and note my insecurities beyond saying you "don't mean it like that". I beg you to give me the time and space that I am starving for.
I'm tired
I don't get enough sleep, I don't get enough rest, I spend all these days trapped in my flooding brain. Tasks and worries and fears swirl around, festering in my stomach leaving no room for the food I force down my throat.
You aren't helping.
I know you think you are, but your nudges to get things done feel like blades engraved with "not trying hard enough". Your understanding flows with an undercurrent of "just do better already".
Your actions are colored in the hues of my insecurity. You can't help it, I know, but it still is true.
I need you to leave me alone, lest I find myself resenting you, who I love so dearly.
