Some thoughts...

Most people think Daryl and L had sex but where is that actually coming from? It came from the spoilers...only the spoilers...which means, a person who watched it gave his/her opinion on what this scene looked like. Having said that it's probably good to keep that in mind.

How did that scene look to you? Can you erase the spoiler (that labeled the scene) and make up your own mind. What did YOU see?

Scene ends after that...Daryl is fully clothed...no kiss in that entire flashback.

Imo it's still ambiguous. They'd make a bigger fuzz of Daryl getting laid after 10 fkn years!

They could've made a scene of them in bed together 'after'...still not explicit but more confirmation.

Well...did Glenn die under the dumpster? I can't imagine AK wasting so much energy to explain in several interviews that Daryl needs time and trust to build a relationship that leads to romance and then that's all we get? I don’t buy it.

I can't imagine that they remind us of Daryl’s scars several times but when it happens we don't even see him losing his shirt? Norman has no problem with that🤷🏻‍♀️

The facts that Daryl the tracker never looked for her and the memories only hit him all of a sudden when he's in the cabin and he even forgot that this note was still there...

She never really crossed his mind. It was like..."Oh, wait a minute, wasn't there something?"

I think, it's a good sign that the actress is filming for Season 11. Daryl has a chance to show/tell Leah that what they had happened out of despair and loneliness. He'd be able to reject her which wouldn't be possible when she was gone for good. He turned to her due to losing Carol. With Carol by his side there's no reason to repeat that fling.

Note:

Daryl and L. NOT even kissing has nothing to do with Covid. Actors didn't film with distance (Carol/Jerry Hug). Instead they tested daily, put actors under quarantine and filmed in small groups.

Making sense of the 10c ⚠️#spoilers⚠️

I calmed down a bit and thought about all this. While it's still fucked up, I might have a clue where the writers are going.

Spoilers say that Carol tells Daryl that she won't visit him anymore. Why? What's the reason? 🤔 After that he either starts something with L. or decides to live with her (no further info on this) but anyway...what he does is clearly a reaction out of despair and hurt feelings. Having said this, it's worth a thought if all this mess could bring us closer to a confirmation of their feelings than we thought.

Further note: It seems like the writers gave sex a special meaning. On the show it's obviously something Carol and Daryl do NOT do with each other but with other people when they're in a bad place. Carol - Tobin and Keke, Daryl - L.

It was also mentioned that something about the thing with L. was toxic.

Spoilers also say that Daryl and Kelly are looking for Connie and that he blames Carol for what happened to her. A really ugly fight was mentioned.There were hints/callbacks to earlier seasons before and maybe, that's another one? Remember this? Daryl lashed out when Sophia died and put his anger and frustration out on Carol. Not an excuse for such behavior...but maybe an explanation. He's mad that she left him...mad that she didn't listen to him in the cave and frustrated because he couldn’t find Connie for Kelly just like he didn't find Sophia.

I also saw people speculating about a bracelet L. wears. Keep in mind that 10c was written not even one year ago (because of covid) and that it wasn't planned. It's filler. If L. had been the love of Daryl's life and had something to do with the bracelet he made for Carol, this scene would not have been this fluffy. Oh...and it was Carol's idea!

I also think New Mexico is a Caryl thing...a special place for the two of them. Planned long before 10c was written.

It's also worth thinking about what writers said about 10c. They "wrote interesting stuff for Carol and Daryl" which makes me think that the fling and the fight have nothing to do with L. or Connie, but everything with Caryl.

I hate what the show is doing and it could've been written so much better, but I still wanna know how this plays out. With Kang in charge nothing is what it seems at first sight.
